Former Raven Torrey Smith suffers concussion after nasty spill.

Lucky that this is all the injury was for him after a very scary moment on this play

Smith leaped to make a catch, defender was all over him and he came down hard to the turf and landed on the side of his head essentially. He was knocked unconscious for a few moments and then was carted off the field.

I always liked Torrey as a player and as a representative of Baltimore. He still does a lot of things for this community. Hope he makes a speedy and full recovery.

Wow, looking at it in slow motion, it appeared the impact of that full hit came as his head hit the ground and his head & neck snapped back up due to the impact, then he fell... knocked out, that was brutal!  Prayin' for ya Torrey!!!

Me too salamander!  Torrey will always have a special place in my heart as well and he still active in the Baltimore community.  Hope he recovers quickly. Prayers up!
