[News] What If Patriots Landed Steve Smith And Mike Wallace?

8 posts in this topic

Brady would have had some prime time players to throw to and help negate some of the loss of Gronk missing large chunks of time. Remember what he did when he had Randy Moss?

As for the way NE runs their organization, perhaps there is something to be said about a regimented system where no one player is above the team. The Patriots have been consistent winners time and time again and a lot of that has come with relatively unheralded players on offense other than Gronk and Brady.

If you think I am gushing over the Pats, relax. I can't stand them. I want the Ravens to bury Tom Brady in the turf early and often. Get to him and make him pay. Even if you don't get the sack, drill him to the turf and make him pay for every completion WITHIN the rules of course. We don't need any silly late hit penalties messing up our defensive stands.

If the Ravens show up for all four quarters like they finally did in Miami then I like our chances. We can't afford to be in a coma for a half against a team like the Patriots.

There has to be a reason why these two chose to stay in Baltimore as opposed to going to NE. Especially SSS, who has never been on a superbowl winning team. Obviously, his chances would have been greater there if that is important to him.

Maybe the rumors are true that here, the players can be themselves. Where in NE it must be way more regimented and BB must be truly more domineering then the outside world thinks.

Honestly don't really care about hypotheticals. They're here now that's all that matters. And they're about to open up a can of you know what on the team that wishes they acquired them.

Coulda shoulda woulda.

I'd be more interested to see "What if they landed Shareese Wright, Sergio Kindle and Terrence Cody!"

that's not fair to Kindle. He would have been great if he hadn't busted his pumpkin.

Stupid is as stupid does. I know some people that know him personally, the dude's not quite right. He was known for being a party animal in college and that didn't change one iota when he was due to make millions of dollars in the NFL. So yeah, when you're THAT stupid it is all on the player. He busted his pumpkin because he didn't use that big seed that sits inside.
