You might be the only one - :)

That's being generous, I had a more colorful word to describe their coverage skills :(

I guess I have to like him to have hope, we don't have any other solutions.

Im sorry, but these guys are burned every time they touch the field!!!

Last Pitt game, Washington was handling Ward and as soon as he got injured and these two shared the duties on CB Ward blew them up and won the game.

Not to mention Ivy runs around like he makes every play.....he'll come in last minute when 3 of our other guys make a tackle and he'll untie a guys shoe and think he made the play and then hoot and holler like an idiot!!!

That said, they can change my opinion in the biggest spotlight imaginable - crossing fingers!

I disagree, I haven't seen that behavior from Ivy.

I do agree this is the last thing we need. Game before the Super Bowl we are starting our 3rd and 4th String corner. It just means our Offense must work harder than theirs.

I'm all for eating crow. I hope they make me eat it by the bucketful. I just won't see it actually happen, because I'll be covering my eyes every time Ward runs deep and the ball heads his way... :D

Exactly...remember what happened last year when we played them and had to start Ivy and Pittman? Big Jen torched us for 5 TD's.
So I'm sorry for not being overly optimistic about those guys, but don't have much reason to.

That's what I'm thinking. I'm hoping we get some good offensive showing. If our 3rd and 4th strings can't handle the passing game, then our offense is going to need to step up. Sounds like a defining moment in Flacco's young career could appear in this game.

at least theyve had all week to prepare for what theyre up against instead of being thrown in in the middle of the game. hopefully playing for a superbowl berth can give them the boost to hold it down.

well walker is better than ivy, Walker gets physical and well be putting him on Hines so we need physicality out of the corner spot

I agree 100% on this point. Walker over Ivy any day of the week, especially against a #1 or 2 reciever. Ivy is more of a package CB. He can bring the blitz, drop into a short zone, or try and cover a lesser WR man-to-man. But as far as a starting CB, we'd be in trouble. Much like last year, when we were suspectable against the big play. When Cmac and Rolle went out last year, we didn't have the luxury of Washington and Walker.

Awesome to see our fans have so much faith in our backups. That's sarcasm by the way. It's seems like our fans would rather see us lose, way to to go guys, keep up the support. By the way, that's sarcasm again.

Pretty much, I have an idea he was someone that had 3 handles disabled earlier. We also have a poster with a very similar handle and that was not him.

I'm just being realistic; last year we got absolutely crushed when Ivy and Pittman subbed for McAllister and Rolle in that Pittsburgh game. Granted, Walker is a little better than Pittman, but can you honestly say that you are confident that either Walker or Ivy can cover Ward for a full 60 minutes? I'm not saying that we're going to lose; actually quite the opposite, I think we're going to win despite the deck being stacked against us. But I don't want to sound like a blinded homer and say that those two guys can shut down Big Jen and Ward.

I mean what Frank is doing as a back up is prettygood , but honestly i feel like when he comes in the teams just attack his side, he isnt as strong as the other cb's. I like to see them try Haruki Nak, or tom zbikowski , on some plays i think they could do well.

Walker's not too bad, he's been beat a couple times, but he's also made a few nice plays on the ball as well( i think he has an int. doesnt he?). Granted i'd love to see Samari out there, but i think we'll be seeing a mix and match of DB's like Moiles just said
