We weren't 30 yards out this. The play i was talking about occurred inside the redzone to be specific. It was 3rd &4 from the 12 yard line. The play ended with an sack that netted -8 yards.  Backed us up to the 20yd line for a Tucker 38yd FG.  

Pitta ran outside route almost a post to the right. He could have threw it high ( which is already a tendency of his ) right over the middle.  

A pass high downfield is much less likely to be called an intentional grounding by refs because it could simply be a miscommunication between WR & QB, which didn't even matter in this case since there is really no downfield.
