Week 14 - Baltimore Ravens at New England Patriots

Watch us beat the Steelers but lose to the Bengals and lose out on the division.  Because it wouldn't be the Ravens without it going down to the wire in some fashion.

You still put em deep.  Only chance we have is for them to stop the Pats anyway.  Better field position and it just really didn't make sense if you kick it out the end zone.  The chances of recovering are awful and once again great time management by the offense forcing us to use a TO.  Then the best run d in the league parts like [insert bad pun].  ST really screwed us early in this game as well.  Bad coaching and execution all around.  The fact that this was somehow this close is actually quite amazing.

True. We don't deserve playoffs. This team all season has been a let down. What a nice send off for SSS

I think everyone has faults in this game.  

Dixon was probably the best player out there.

Love the overreaction. We were never suppose to win this game the fact it was even this close is a miracle. The defense did play well two big plays bloated the stats. Offense showed up in the second half it was just too little too late. Biggest bright spot was KD that's guy is amazing and gonna be great for us. And Judon that guy had some great pressure on Tom.

I would say just lose out the remaining 3 games to get better draft position, but it won't matter bc whoever we draft will end up on IR anyway.

I never like the "we don't deserve to be in the playoffs" line.  Only half the playoffs teams really deserve to be there.  And last time we didn't deserve the playoffs we went out and finally beat the Steelers in the playoffs and took the Patriots to the brink.

Really really really STUPID to 1) take their sweet time during their possession and 2) do an onside kick with 2 minutes.

I would have kicked a FG as soon as we got in FG range just to save time and let the d handle their business but that's just me (what do I know?)

This is why we need more depth at CB. Neither Tavon Young or Jarraud Powers can handle #1 CB responsibility.

I hate how they refer to the Hogan play as answering back.  That wasn't really the Patriots answering back as it was just the Ravens blowing coverage big time.

We've played 3 very good teams this season...and lost all 3 games. It doesn't matter if it's close, the simple fact is we are not a playoff calibre team because we can't beat good teams. Heck we are barely above average. The post- Ray Lewis Ravens are not legit contenders.

I'm not complaining. We didn't get crushed on national TV, our D wasn't great but showed fight till the end, if anything eases this pain K.Dixon is a keeper.

I'd still take a playoff trip over a higher draft pick any day.  Draft picks do not guarantee future success. Get the playoffs and you never know what might happen.  Didn't really think we would win it in 2012.
