Ravens' statement to NFL: Better not write us off. No need for a run game when middle of field is wide open. Both offensive line and Flacco deserve credit. This healthy, productive team is what front office envisioned.

Sort of. While they only gave up one TD, the D looked rather lethargic with pass coverage. Need to tighten that up!

Not only was the FO envisioning this team, the entire fanbase was also. Can we take the show on the road? Watch out Foxborough, where come the Ravens.

This is reminding me of our playoff run in 2011 and even 2012 - although in 2012 we were not playing well at this point in the season. I wanted Pittsburgh to lose today, but not in the cards as the Giants' defense looks pathetic.

A complete game from the coaching on down to the ball boy! Joe looked great, the O line looked great, everyone looked great! What a way to head into Foxboro!

We can't count on the Steelers losing. I believe we might have to beat New England, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh to secure the division. Ravens have to win three straight games. Pittsburgh game will define the season.

Oh please. Great game. No complaints needed or warranted.

Some clown at NFL dot com tried to belittle today's victory against the Dolphins and shame us for not leaning on the run game. It was a joy to read especially considering how he consistently fails to shame the Packers who've pretty much done the same thing the majority of the Rodgers era.

1) Ajayi is the best RB in the league. Holy, freaking, crap. His O line actually sucks. He creates yards with his power and elusiveness. The dude reminds of Lynch in his prime; but more elusive. As expected, the Ravens run D was in position to stop the run almost every time. However, Ajayi, somehow kept on breaking tackle after tackle. The Ravens are the best tackling D. They hardly miss them. That shows you how truly awesome Ajayi is. (OK, enough of that)

** The 6 points the Phins had was a gift. This game should've been a shutout. Pitta's knee was down before that ball came out. They have to get that right. That's what the replay is for. **

2) I don't care if the Ravens barely ran the ball - they were taking what the defense was giving them. Flacco and the OC exploited it all game long. That's how you win football games. The run/pass ratio doesn't tell the whole story.

3) Flacco grew more and more confident as the game went on. He picked them apart. But more importantly, Flacco was fundamentally sound. He was not throwing off his back foot, he was not forcing throws (except for the miscommunication between him and Wallace; which he should've thrown away) This is what we have been waiting for. Granted, one game does not absolve him of responsibility for all the boneheaded plays and decision making he's made this season; but I'm hoping this game reminded him of what he can truly be. He ticks me off to no end, and when he sucks, he REALLY sucks. But this game was AWESOME!! Good job, Joe. (Not that you give a crap what I think)

4) Our defense is amazing. Aside from Timmy's idiotic taunting penalty, that dude is a darn good football player. Also, having Jimmy back is great. But we still need to be able to generate a pass rush without blitzing. When the Ravens blitz on 3rd down, they get beat seemingly every time. However, I appreciate Pees' willingness to be aggressive. (Against Marsha Brady and the Patriots, we'll need a 4/5 man pass rush. Brady kills blitzes like no other)

5) Perriman - if he remains healthy, the dude is going to be great. I love that we got Mike Wallace. Pitta - he sucks at blocking, but damn, dude can catch anywhere on the field.

6) With all of the talent the Ravens have on both sides of the ball, they should be great. Perhaps this game is a glimpse of their potential. But I'll be realistic about it. I want to see consistency. ST and D are great. Outside of today, the O is terrible. Hopefully that's going to change.

7) I rarely wear jerseys, but today, I put on my black, authentic Ed Reed jersey. I'll be wearing it every week from here on out, win or lose.

This team drives me insane, especially Flacco. But damn...I love em. GO RAVENS.

When the offense was struggling, our o-line was decimated by injuries, SSS was out, and Perriman was still getting his feet wet. The offense was undermanned and searching for an identity. I don't think today was a fluke. Ever since the Browns game, they have been moving the ball more consistently and finding a rhythm. I have no clue why it took so long to go to the no-huddle, but I'm glad it finally happened. Penalties were killing drives and we were settling for too many field goals, but I could tell that progress was being made, and we finally saw it come together today.

They need to punish Marsha Brady. I want to see her throwing temper tantrums, and getting her panties in a bunch all game long.

I agree with you on this one. No clue what he means by "lethargic." They were not perfect; but c'mon.

I always remember that during the draft that year, l wanted Ozzie to draft Ajayi due to him still on the board in the later rounds. Ozzie miss a big time player there. Ajayi could've been a beast with us but l'm happy with West.

West is an awesome back. Dixon shows he can be. But ya, Ajayi is crazy good.

Agreed! This year the Ravens haven't played up to their potential. This was the first game that made me believe that maybe they could be competitive in the playoffs.

I always want them to run more but this time I agree. When you're moving the ball up and down the field, pass all you want.

Assuming we end up 9-7 with losses to Pit and NE. I agree. I think 10-6 gets us in no matter what. For the first time all year 10-6 seems possible.

I think Wright is the best 3rd corner we've had for a while. He's way better than Ivy or Brown.

The obvious difference between the 2012 season and now is that by the time we allowed ourselves a little slack, we were comfortably ahead in the division - and even if we somehow let it slip, we would still make the plaoffs at the top seeded wild card spot. This time we're only on top by virtue of half a tie breaker over the steelers - and if we don't win the division, we'll hardly make it as a wild card team...

But with all this: let's hope it'll end up being exactly like the 2013 season ;)
