I see they are calling for 80% chance of rain in Foxborough for Monday. Could end up a mud fest with low scores possible.

Patriots known to be good in bad weather conditions no? Why can I picture Brady slinging it in the snow lol

Ed Hochuli's crew to ref the game.  Just saw this on ESPN.com

Mike Reiss ESPN Staff Writer

Ed Hochuli has been assigned as referee for the Ravens-at-Patriots game on ESPN's "Monday Night Football" on Dec. 12. This is Hochuli's first Patriots game of the season. Given the recent history between the teams, with the Patriots using eligible receivers as ineligible to spark them to victory, the referee assignment for this game has some added meaning.

Honestly, I don't see them using anything abnormal considering they may see us again and are only fighting over the #1 seed with OAK at this point.

Yeah and I understand it is like the Cowboys in the NFC. Even though for once they deserve some hype (I was so tired hearing each year they would go all the way and end up at .500 or below).

Everyone needs to be the biggest Bills fans this week.

Tyrod time. @Militant X 1 I'm blaming you if the Bills don't beat Pittsburgh fyi;) your boy needs to help us more than ever!

I'm still really ticked Luck wasn't able to suit up on Thanksgiving. The way he played last night I'm pretty sure they would've beat the steelers and we'd have a 1 game cushion. Nice to be in front but the lead is def not comfortable not having any room for error whatsoever. Go bills!

We usually play pretty well in bad weather too. I think I trust our running game more than theirs too. I think...

Def trust our defense more though. Can't wait to see a slugfest. How awesome would that be on Monday night in the pouring down rain ? I'm pumped

I agree.  It would be pretty awesome to see it played in pouring rain.  Looks like there is even a chance it might be snow.  Definitely will be interesting to see how the weather forecast shapes up.  The predictions in New England tend to change pretty drastically pretty quickly.

I think this helps us. I think our run game is better than the numbers show. Since yanda moved to LG ouR blocking has been better and we have 2 very good backs. West grinds down defenses, Dixon breaks big chunks often. Boyle gives us a distinct advantage on whatever side he blocks on, and Marty has always called strong run games.

Maybe this is the week we get the run offense going and controlThe clock

Too soon to say AFC Championship Preview?

I don't think so. I mean, if we're saying we're the "dark horse" or really contenders, it will go through NE.

If Oakland wins the 1 seed we almost certainly won't see NE in the championship. It looks like we will win the 3 seed if things go as hoped, if NE wins the 2 seed and we win the wild card round then we will see them in the divisional round. The 1 seed plays the lowest remaining seed And the 2 seed plays the highest remaining seed which would have the 2 And 3 face off in the divisional round.

Yep, everybody's thinking with the latest SB run in mind. Looks to me more like we're seeing 2000 all over again, including @Raiders AFC championship game.

Possibly, but WAY to early to predict these things.  Raiders have a tough remaining schedule. (@ Chiefs, @ Chargers, vs. Colts, @ Broncos)  Definitely could be a playoff preview either way.

I think Perriman has to be a major part in the gameplan for this week. The Pats have a good pass defense, but I don't think any of their DBs match up that well to Perriman's size and speed. You aren't going to out scheme the Pats defense, but you can certainly take advantage of any mismatch you can find.

They played in Baltimore in 2013...?

Embarrassing home loss, got blown out 41-7. Would love to see us do the same to them in Foxboro and just blow them out 38-7, 41-7, etc.

Foul weather favors the home team.  They have more "comforts" available.

The good thing is that the ravens are like Elsa from frozen. "The cold never bothered us anyway".

We play good football in cold weather. I think we can pull out a win but will keep it as a L for now. But I'd love to be wrong. Bellicheat probably has a mole within our organization.

But the way I see it, we need payback. Payback for the cheap crap they pulled against us two years ago.

Pees will prevail. Our defense will set the tone. Joe loves playing in big games in Foxboro and will rise to meet the challenge. In the end,Tucker's golden toe will win the game. What else is there to say? Oh yeah!!!! Rex Ryan finds a way to ruin Big Ben's day. Go Ravens!!

Hochuli is one of the most experienced, if not the most experienced ref in the NFL.

People tend to forget that. And that was with a playoff spot on the line.If we were better running the football,I'd like our chances. We have to hope for a low scorer.

That was a team with no oline, no secondary outsideof Jimmy Smith, and only one weapon(Torrey who wasn't that great) with a hobbled Joe Flacco if you also remember that game. It was right after the Lions game where Flacco got hurt.

I agree the Pats fans are pretty bad and they also like any fan base have very good fans as well.  My wife, like yours is from the Boston area, but mine (edit: I see yours is as well) is wearing Ravens merchandise on Sundays!

Yeah we married in 07 she was still a pats fan at the time.  We went to the Ravens v. undefeated pats game that year.

She switched over when Brady started acting like a sissy girl any time Suggs got near her.  As time went on between Tom, Gronk, and Belichick she said that she "would be embarrassed to be a pats fan"

No matter who wins, it's going to come down to Justin Tucker having to kick a game winning FG for us. I see this being another nail biting game that comes down to the final minutes. My prediction, Tucker hits a 54 Yard Game Winning FG to win the game to further his GLORIOUS 2016 Season.

Ravens 31

Patriots 28

So you think the Ravens can hang 31 points on a Patriot defense that is every good as ours? Both teams have allowed the exact same amount of points scored against us. I love your optimism but we gotta be real here. They are 9-2. We are 7-5. We are playing in Gillette stadium. It's supposed to have alot of rain there. About ten years ago, my wife and I went to New England to watch our Ravens. The game was played in a steady, all game down pour, Ravens got beat 21-3. As Mod 3 said, advantage goes to the home team. I know that everybody is jacked up because we thumped Miami pretty good. We played our best game of the year while Miami played their worst game of the year. This will be a defensive game. I love my Ravens, but got to be real here. Pats 20 Ravens10. Hope I'm wrong.

I'd feel this way if I was just checking scores and not following the team...what does a game from 10 years ago have to do with Monday?

All that matters is how we're playing now, and that pretty darn good. I think you're going to be pleasantly surprised by Monday's effort.

Had to google ravens in Scotland because I wasn't aware.  Came across this link......wow!

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/05/01/death-from-above-the-ravens-slaughtering-newborn-lambs/

If you see them up close they're pretty menacing and big !  I'm pretty sure they're considered as Birds of Prey, same grouping as eagles, falcons etc even though they're a Crow. If you go walking in the Highlands in Scotland you see them a lot, always in pairs, beautiful creatures.
