Jimmy's on whoever the Raven's put on his side. I'm thinking its gonna be predominantly Hogan.

So Tavon on Edelman? With Gronk out I hope we give Tavon some help but I think he's quick and shifty enough to hang with him one on one but I'm not sure.

Tavon on Edelman is a matchup I penciled since the preseason when Tavon was earning his spot as the slot CB. I really like the matchup, TY has done a good job against AB, DJax, Coleman, so I see Edelman as a guy he can perfectly match up with.

I think our defense matches up great against them. Without Gronk, there's noone on their team that im afraid of. I also think the Patriots with an ageing Brady are about to be over the hill and it'll start to show soon.

I wish that Reed wasn't coaching in Buffalo. It would cool to see the Ravens sign him for one week just to screw with Belichick and Brady. :268213:

If you really want to instill fear.....bring back Bernard Pollard.  He's a free agent too!

I'm really excited yet scared at the same time.

We are playing our best football of the year, our team is healthy and our defense has been playing lights out as of late. I'm just worried the patriots are gonna bring us back down to earth like we did to the Dolphins. We've seen this year how good we can be but also how bad we can be. The pats are the kinda team that usually makes a statement over teams who are getting hot. I just hope we can keep up our rhythm.

on paper and with the matchups all across the board we should hold a slight advantage. They have no pass rush and they're still trying to find their identity post-gronk. Stuff the run and force Brady to push the ball down the field. All he can do is throw check downs and the way our tackling has been, I'm fine with that. Leave weddle in the box and play a one deep safety all game. Force them to make plays down the field. I honestly don't think they can with their wide receiver group. Mitchell is the only one who somewhat scares me but one on one with smith he doesn't have a chance.

dean pees is going to need to put his best game plan ever to take this one home. He used to coach for the patriots (at least I believe) so that should be extra motivation for him. Joe can't turn the ball over and Marty has to stay aggressive. SSS is gonna have to ball out early to light a fire under our team.

We can pull this off!!!!!!! Just stay focused and play MISTAKE FREE football and leave it up to tucker to win the game.

Bring in Ray Lewis to fire up the boys!!!!!! Ray would get these young guys to play so inspired. He knows how this game is won!!! You match up man to man and Have an I'm better than you attitude. Don't let this moment be bigger than you and do what you do!

Honestly, I think the Patriots need to be brought down to reality themselves as well.

Patriots fans like to poke holes in the games the Ravens loss/won.  But they aren't much better.  They beat a Cardinals team who can't win on the road, a Steelers team without Roethlisberger, and an anemic Texans team.  They took care of the Bills (who they also lost to), Dolphins, Browns, and Bengals (we also beat these teams).  Their toughest opponent this season was against Seattle who they lost to at home.

The last three weeks they've played the bottom of the barrel.  49ers, Jets, and Rams.  And didn't look all that impressive in those games.  But they have taken care of business much better than the Ravens.

Yes on the flip side we lost to some inferior teams.  But we were also down a slew of key guys during that stretch.

Yea, seriously. I'll always remember how they disrespected Torrey's brother the year we won it all. Will never, ever respect them.

Ugh. I mean, seriously, that goes beyond the usual smack talk between fans, those are just vile, disgusting wastes of space that we find anywhere.

No matter who wins, it's going to come down to Justin Tucker having to kick a game winning FG for us. I see this being another nail biting game that comes down to the final minutes. My prediction, Tucker hits a 54 Yard Game Winning FG to win the game to further his GLORIOUS 2016 Season.

Ravens 31

Patriots 28

I agree on the game being in tuckers hands or foot for that matter. I dont think it will be that high scoring. If we allow 28 points we will not win this game. We need to keep them under 25 to have any chance to win

As well as tucker winning the game. I expect the pats kicker to miss a kick or extra point and loom large in defeat, either that or our block party shows up in new england and returns one back.

Final score:

Ravens-24 (tucker game winning 32 yard feild goal. Same distance cundiff missed on)

Patriots-23 (missed extra point looms large)

Not that it really matter much, but I feel like I have to say this every time we play the Pats.

By far and I really mean BY FAR the worst fans I have ever encountered have been pats fans.  Far beyond steeler fans, and that is saying something.  I can back that up by saying my wife is from the Boston area.  She still has family up there and we go up there usually once or twice a year.  I wear my Ravens stuff.  I have Raven plates on my truck and the bird in the window.  I get treated accordingly.  I know pats fans.  While most are like that I have encountered quite a few who have been cool , and that is not just family. ( Her brothers are WAY cool as are her parents )
So I fully realize I don't have to say it with this group, but I am saying it anyway.  There really are some cool pats fans out there.  Not a lot mind you. :)

I'm stoked for this.  I can honestly see us beating them or getting blown out, I think either one is just as likely.   I really Hope that we are very aggressive: I've always said the best way to beat Brady is to hit him hard and early.

My roommate is a NE fan.. Yet again,  this could be really good,  or really bad.

The Pats have the 6th ranked offense overall, 5th in passing and 6th in rushing. However the 9th ranked defense, along with the 12th in passing offense, one behind the Dolphins who we just shredded. The past 4 games Brady has thrown for under 300 yards and Blount rushing for in the 60s, the exception there being against pathetic SF where he crested 100. But overall the numbers have been less than impressive and just bearing pathetic teams. Cmon SF, who yesterday benched crappernuts after 5 sacks and just 5 yards passing, and LA.

Its a typical good matchup for us. Suggs, and even Weddle knows Brady's BS. And no one is scared of Blount I doubt he even breaks 50 yards. After watching their games, they find a way to win which is what good teams do, but woot Gronk, or a hampered one Suggs and Doom are gonna have a field day against Tom as our secondary can handle Edelman and co.

Theyre D is middle of the road that so far has basically gotten lucky, but very inexperienced. I'm betting SR and Wallace light them up and their now pathetic LBs get exposed in the middle just like we did against Miami. I expect another good showing by Joe and our TEs and spreading it around picking on the easy match ups. And even with Brady they just don't have enough to attack our D. Theyll be one dimensional from the getgo and don't have the weapons to overcome it. Hell Miami have better WRs and TEs than NE has.

Just a hunch, and going against my original guess when the schedule came out, but think we win this one 30-19

Meh I've never had that problem with them. Their "undefeated year" where we were stimpoj g them and the refs gave em the game I was there row 3 and we had this hilarious little dude Pats fan who was only like 5'3 so of course he couldn't see anything as everyone was standing the whole game. He was so cool me and a buddy actually lifted him onto our shoulders like a little kid so he could see. Lol.

Also was at Foxborough for the champ game that we went to the SB. They had the same smoking policy and we were in the upper level and their fans allowed me and a couple other Ravens fans to hide in the crowd of other smokers guarded against security so we could have a cigarette and they welcomed us in. Even when the game was over with 5 min left numerous fans let us move down behind the Ravens bench into their seats so we could be behind our team. Got Jacoby gloves, a football from Ngata, Joe came over and got his towel, few other things. Guys we're basically stripping in front of us crowd and giving away all their gear. Amazing time, even the few Pats fans that stayed slapped hands with Suggs and Ray congratulating them on the win.

One improvement I do want to see is more production from Jernigan. He seems to be doing his disappearing act again. That or I'd like to see us find more ways to get Urban on the field. All he does is make impact plays when given the chance. Brady's quick passing is susceptible to being batted down.

Wonder what tricks Billy has up his sleeve.  You know he's saving something for us.

First, he's going to bump and try to knock our receivers off their routes at the line of scrimmage. This will make it tougher for our receivers to get to their posts and also enable their linebackers to make plays. Harbaugh is going to have game plan for that. Billy has watched that Miami game where Joe threw to open receivers at will. Not going to happen on Monday night. Our backs are going to have to be effective.

Hey NFL scheduling committee: For the next 5 years have the Pats play in M & T.   I am sick of facing the Pats in their place All The Time.
