In addition to the consistent, disciplined, players´execution I would praise the coordinators. I´m not a Pees fan but he couldn´t adapt to this game any beter, Props to my boy Marty´, too, for listening to my pre-game hints :D

I´m pretty confident in the next game. NE D ain´t the same without J.Collins and C.Jones. Plus, Rob´s injury will limit their passing game to Bennett and a few slot guys, which means more men in the box for us. It should all work to our advantage.

Exactly how I feel about this game however let's not forget their QB and Coach are gonna have a good game plan so we're gonna have to execute as well as we did against the Fins or better to get the "W" in NE, I feel confident though we have a good history up there.

Defense notes are up.  Lots of snap count information, rest, ATS, and why the Ravens played less than 2 defensive linemen per snap.

Glad you noticed Urban, too.  I thought he did extremely well for the limited umber of snaps he played.

I can't stop watching the touchdown catch and run by Perriman.  The great call to have him run a drag route and everyone else clear out the space, then just the pure speed by Perriman to blow everyone else away.  That's some exciting offense

Yea that's probably what it was, or his way of being that rah rah leader that people like to see when you're losing. I just think it's one of those look at me moments, when though my team is losing. Maybe if it were a sack or turnover I wouldn't have noticed, but the play resulted in a 1st down. The RB chirping at Orr for shrugging off his tackle was just as bad. Like bro, you're losing and you gained no yards on the play, how can you flex? lol

lol did you see Dilfer brought it up on the MNF pregame show. Almost like a C'Mon man thing. Charles Woodson and those guys were laughing ? about it.

Everyone was like what is he doing ( cue the Scoreboard 24-6) yay we losing still, next play yay Perriman long touchdown ??.   You still want to celebrate brother ?

I forgot what website I was on but I read some T.Suggs comments and he spoke very highly of Brent Urban and L.Guy. He talked about how they rarely get mentioned but how well they've both been playing, and their consistency leading to his success.

I'm glad Urban is playing well especially after those first couple of injury setbacks.

( also gives me hope that Kaufusi and C.Davis may return from injury next year and impact the team )

I missed it. But it was definitely a c'mon man moment

I've always thought Guy was an underrated, but important piece to this defense. He does a little bit of everything. I hope we can retain him after the season.

It was part of their C'mon segment.  They showed the play and blanked out the score and said "what is the score?"

Gonna go ahead and eat plenty of crow about Perriman. He is very good.

Yeah. I heard he was fast, but that's the first time we've really seen it. Safety was at full stride right behind Perriman and he just walked away from him. He's fast, just needs a little runway. lol

would love to see him get the ball in more open field situations. like when Wallace had that 95 yarder, I would of loved to see BP pull away.

Guy had an enormous game and was my #2 defensive star:

The other lineman who delivered an exceptional effort was Lawrence Guy (27 snaps).  He received credit for touching down Tannehill on the aborted snap for his only tackle, but he had 2 pressures and a QH in 21 pass rush snaps, drew a holding flag on Tunsil (Q3, 10:53), and also drew the face mask on Tunsil (Q3, 1:35), each of which stalled drives.  One of his pressures was the initial flush on what would become Urban’s cleanup sack (Q4, 11:34)

Good: We won

Bad: So did Spittsburgh. Shame on Elite Eli, not!!!!!

Ugly: Our remaining schedule. Not to worry! On Christmas Day, an ugly constable of Ravens will play the part of the ugly Grinch who stole Christmas as they sneak into Spittsburgh and steal The AFC Crown from the ugly Steelers.

Yeah that was my exact thoughts like wow, where did that extra gear come from hadn't seen that level of speed from him yet.   Hope that really gets his confidence going and we can see him get a few Go-routes and seam routes from the slot.

Kuddos to Flacco for hitting him in stride, so he could just turn and run.

Give Perriman 95 yards and he may break the sound barrier.

Was so awesome to finally see it first hand..been waiting all year. We need to get him in space and hit him in stride more often and he can make things happen. I'm telling yall ppl keep saying he's Torrey 2.0 or not even as good as Torrey- this kid will be 5x better..mark my words.

Crazy thing is I don't even think Perriman was going full speed, he was waiting for the Steve Smith block for most of that run.

i mean he was going so fast though - that's fast enough for me but if there's more speed beyond that im not gonna complain

i think he was clocked as the fastest person all of week 13 so if he was coasting while doing that then weve got some special speed here

People are too quick to dump speed players in the same category.  Just looking at both of their college tapes alone, it was obvious Breshad was going to be the better player.  Torrey's tape at MD feature tons of body catches.  In fact, off memory from when I watched in 2011, I remember all body catches in stride.  The speed was obvious though.  Meanwhile, Perriman's tape showed hands catches, high pointing the ball, leaping ability, catches in traffic, etc.  Literally everything you'd want of a WR.

I'll admit he wasn't on my radar at that point, but after doing research, it was obvious he was a far more athletic WR than Torrey Smith.  We're slowly seeing examples that show that statement to be true

he just needs consistency - which was a problem at college for him as well - i cant wait for him to finally breakout properly

Urban's big play rate may be highest on the team.  I think they need to find a way for him to get more snaps.  Multiple ways to do that, but all may require some scheme change.

he seems to get most of his snaps in the 4th quarter of games when Olineman are tiring - i dont know if that's a tactic to keep him fresh so that we've got a warm body raring to go against ailing offensive players at crucial times - i also might be wrong but all of his splash plays have been late on in games

urban is absolutely gigantic, and he has an injury history a mile long. i definitely think its to keep him fresh.

plus, he doesnt have much burst at all, so when he plays hes using all brute force, so i would imagine he tires very quickly.

Actually I think that one play a few weeks ago where they were batting passes like crazy was orchestrated by Urban he is known for stuff like that ....

What a bargain Guy has been. He's contributed with quality play from Day 1 of his arrival in Bmore and is just one of those "guys" (haha) that has often been under appreciated.  I hope he remains a Raven for a long time.

No need to take deep shots when the short game is working. You use the deep ball to keep defenses honest when they are successfully shutting down your short game or blitzing heavy. There was nothing overrated about yesterday's performance, we finally gave Joe good protection and he absolutely lit up the dolphins. He was money all day. We played like a SB caliber team.

I was at the game, it was definitely a fun time in section 150.

I say overrated because the dolphins never challenged. They played alot of zone and off coverage. I don't expect the Patriots to do that. I expect press man on Monday so someone is going to have to get off the line and beat it.

The thing is though is a lot of teams have played that way this year. They sit on the sticks for 3 downs while we throw short and off-rhythm and they make the easy stop short of the first. The difference really was that Joe had time to deliver sharp accurate passes. He hit guys in stride so they could get the YAC which we weren't getting before because Joe was rushing throws and making guys break stride.
