He isn't very good either, he's giving up alot of throws including the lone TD todays, and I think alot of Landry's catches were against him as well.

Well that's what happens when your top 2 corners and safety tandem are playing at an elite level. Someone has to be targeted and obviously tannehill isn't gonna be picking on Jimmy or tavon. His job is mostly to contain, let the defense force them to take the safety net throws, make tackles, and when you're The most targeted defender you should get a chance to make a play at some point.

Powers has played well. Now if he's anything more than our #3 then we're in trouble. But that's not the case currently

Exactly ! Teams rarely have three really good corners.

Jerraud Powers has been an underrated signing imo. It keeps Wright on the bench where he belongs.

In my opinion, Powers hasn't played very well. He's allowed some big plays and TDs. But he is definitely an upgrade over Wright.

Well, you'd never know that by all the "experts" in here. They know everything every player, coach and even the mascots are doing, or not doing, on any given day.

I can't believe how Kikko Alonso got so many picks in his rookie season IIRC... man he's bad in coverage.

I just ordered a Tucker color rush jersey. That 55 yarder today was a thing of beauty. Right down the middle and plenty of distance!

He's up and down.  He had a really strong stretch of very good play until he got to face Cole Beasley.  He struggled there, and against Boyd last week.  He wasn't great today, but I don't think he was bad either.  He's been solid for us throughout the season, with some high highs and low lows balancing that out.

Good: Ravens. Awesome game by everyone.

Bad: Dolphins?  Their offense wasn't really playing bad, we just outplayed them.  Defense started to give up after being demoralized.

Ugly: Refs and Commentators.  It's a bad day for the refs when they are straight up missing multiple false starts, calling blocks in the back where players were untouched, and missing holds when players are just getting tackled from behind on their way to the qb.  Normally we get the B team refs, today we got the interns.  Luckily they weren't calling much, just missing a lot of things that I've never seen refs miss before.  The commentators were just terrible.  The play by play guy getting the players wrong almost every play, and the other guy just saying the complete opposite of the truth every time he opened his mouth.

We're peaking at the right time. Awesome performance today and a good confidence builder as we have a pair massive games still ahead of us.

Perriman needs to touch the ball more in space, he's like a thoroughbreed stallion in the open field. Starting to remind me of a young Demaryius Thomas. Remember, for all intents and purposes this is his rookie year.

Good: Offense was totally in sync and played a complete game.

Bad: It was only the first complete game of the season.

Ugly: The Dolphins, talk about embarrassing.

nice to see Perriman coming along. He's now had 3 TD passes in 4 weeks.

I guess 4 yards shy of 500 total and 5 TD's today makes for a good offensive performance. All I can say is we knew it was coming and it's about damn time.

ok, no more good bad ugly, how about "amazing, great, and good".

AMAZING: it seems like were finding our running game, we work the left edge and the LG/LT gap, or replace the run game with a shallow screen game, no long-developing screens just a drop back and fling it to dixon just outside the tackle box, it was very effective today. Dixon is heating up quick, he is looking more and more like a feature back every week, and west is still bouncing off of tacklers and is looking like a late game workhorse. feed dixon in space, let west grind it out, prescribe a heavy dosage of terrence west to the left side in the 4th quarter, it is helping with gameplanning and identity.

GREAT: stanley is clearly back to full health, he has been a stonewall for the most part, had some hiccups vs the bengals and looked pretty bad against james harrison when he first returned, but he seems to be improving each week as well and looks like a slam dunk franchise LT. zuttah, ducasse, and an injured yanda totally eliminated one of the best interior DL tandems in the league, no sacks for flacco and barely any pressure in general, receivers got separation all day, we worked the intermediate range which is only something ive been begging for us to do all season, and it WORKED(who wouldve thought, when the defense clamps down at a certain mark you expose them over the top everytime they get flat footed). Perriman is looking like the real deal, hes a playmaker, his biggest haters cant deny it anymore, seems like hes scoring a seriously impressive TD every week, and now people cant complain that he plays slow anymore either, that boy forced bad angles from ever player in the secondary and FLEW to the endzone.

GOOD: idk, the team was mostly great and amazing, and honestly all of that couldve been in amazing. i guess our pass rush is looking viable at this point instead of totally anemic, could still improve, but suggs is still hot, doom clearly needed more time to rest and i thought he was done for, but hes proving me wrong and thank god, judon still looking good, still swarm tackling, tavon young looking like the most slept on rookie in the league, all good stuff.

Yep. It looks like we have to beat New England and maybe the next two after that. Can't count on the Steelers losing.

Lmao. Comment of the year. The mods have IP detection software which allows them to ban members who already have accounts here. So don't bother. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it's a bannable offense.

Have you noticed the S on his TD? Like, the guy is in front of the play 30 yards away from BP and still can't have a proper angle...

I wish we would've beaten the Jets because that would've gave us a good spot.

For me, replace the Jets with the Raiders and that's how I feel.

The assumption is made because he doesn't audible and doesn't make good reads.

i dont know if he was just slow to reach full speed, if he was being patient and looking for the right opening, or if he lulled them to sleep and hit the next gear, but he was FLYING on that play and nobody was even close to having the right angle even though they were way in front

And I don't even think he put it into high gear either.

Dude looks like he's jogging.

Wallace is fast and looks fast. And looks like he's trying to run fast.

Perriman looks like he's plodding along, while actually running really fast and doesn't look like he's trying.

Today was a big step imo. Early on he made some spectacular grabs but his impact was few and far between. Then he started to make some of the routine grabs so his impact was a little more consistent. Then he got over the TD hump and is now a serious threat to score every game.

But today was the first time he's really taken a routine catch and blew things wide open. Man... if he can start to do that with any sort of regularity - we've got a scary weapon on our hands.

That's subjective as well.  He does call audibles.  Just b/c he's not out there yelling "Omaha" or something similar doesn't mean he doesn't audible.

We saw him audible a number of times today, one I clearly remember turned into a good run by West.

i wasnt very big on the perriman pick at first. but then i looked into it a lot more and saw that the drops were overblown, and so was everything else. he doesnt have bad hands, nobody with bad hands catches some of the passes hes caught, i was watching his highlights yesterday, he is really making some special catches and he isnt even using his speed to make those catches, hes just out there beating the db with pure ball skills and body control, and then today he finally got to show his speed and it was fun to watch. its also obvious that the coaches are taking notice of his progression, he is getting more snaps and making the most of them, perriman is gonna make some noise the rest of this season.

if we make it in the playoffs and the stage isnt too big for him, he'll be a household name come next season. hes getting hot and starting to put it all together.

"raider quick charlie left" is an audible that should forever be considered one of the all time greats

(that was the audible where flacco checked out of a run on 3rd and 1 late in the super bowl to throw a back shoulder box-out to boldin)

flacco calls audibles, but i really think that the coaches want to limit his freedom in that regard, it seems like, and this has always been the case, that we only give him free-reign when absolutely necessary and joe seems to respect those wishes. running hurry up flacco audibles often, in the playoffs he has  always called a lot of audibles.

i almost think its an extreme conservative approach to the regular season for us, like harbaugh doesnt wanna show his hand, keep the playbook vanilla, play it safe, and only open it up when it feels necessary. i could see us running a lot of hurry up next monday and also against the steelers. i think Harbaugh is ready to unleash Flacco now that our line is playing well and the receivers are getting in a rhythm.

god man im so excited to see the rest of this season. its crazy how only 5 weeks ago we were writing this season off as another lost year.

Gannon pointed out Flacco was changing the line calls also.

The thing that gave me confidence in his future were the spectacular catches early.

Theres only a handful of receivers on the planet with the combo of athleticism, body control, ball skills, and focus to make some of the circus catches he's made.

That's a pretty good base line. The only question was if/when he'd put it together and consistently make the catches he's supposed to, and then use his speed to make plays after the catch.

Its all coming together for him. He could be our weapon X down the stretch.
