Week 13 Dolphins edition: The Good, Bad, Ugly, Vent/Discussion

Interesting fact a friend sent me and I posted in the game thread and thought it belongs here in light of Flacco's int.

Gerry Sandusky (@GerrySandusky) tweeted at 0:47 PM on Sun, Dec 04, 2016:

Bizarre stat of the day. The Ravens are 5-1 this year when Flacco throws an interception. They are 1-4 when he doesn’t throw an interception.

So does this make Joe's int bad?
36/47 (76.6%), 381 yards,
4 TDs, 1 INT.
QBR 119.2.
Why did they not let Flacco get his 400?

Alright so I guess the 2 TOs are the ugly. The senseless penalties are bad.

But seriously, this was a complete game on all sides of the ball. In my book, ALL good.

Perriman needs better route running but he showed some explosive speed on the td run

Finally a decisive win!!! Everyone looked good today. Normally I would have liked to seen more rushing attempts but not with how Flacco and his WR/TE/RB were throwing and catching today.

The Great:: December Flacco hitting 10 different receivers for 381 yards. Oline kept Flacco upright from start to finish against a Dline that we heard was unstoppable all week. Running game showed up, on only 20 carries we logged 110 yards. Turnovers, turnovers for all. Tucker still perfect while all others keep missing. My score prediction of 31-13 wasn't as optimistic as some indicated, in fact I didn't go far enough, won't happen next time coach.

The Good: Defense almost pitched a shutout if it weren't for Pitta's fumble (I'll get to that in a moment). Pitta finally looked pretty darn good working the middle.

The Less-than Good: Run D had a hard time stopping Ajayi early, missed tackles bananza. They moved the ball onto our side of the field a few times in the first but our D showed up and stopped them.

The Overreaction: Cut Pitta for that fumble, we almost had our first shutout in forever. But on a serious note, he almost had a perfect redemption day until that crap.

The good: Complete game by the Offense and Defense.

The bad: Penalties I guess and turnovers (Pitta's fumble wasn't a fumble imo)

Btw Perriman is deceptively fast. His td run looked like he was jogging into the endzone.

Very unbalanced on offense but the gameplan was obviously to take advantage of their defense with various combination routes especially when running against their d-line would be near impossible. Very good job by Mornhinweg.

That stat is bizarre. As long as he's throwing 3-4 TD to cover that Int i'll take it.

The Good: Flacco and the oline look to be over the injury issues. He had tons of time all day and looked like the Flacco we expected to see from the start. I personally don't even pay attention to him stepping into throws anymore. The passing game was very strong and the running game pitched in when needed. Defense looked strong and overall a great team win.

The Bad: The turnovers. They didn't show up much in the outcome but you never want to seem them.

The Ugly: That defender on the Dolphins celebrating after making a tackle that resulted in a 1st down and your team is losing 24-6? What's the point?

Great to see this the Ravens take advantage of a middle of the road team and showed the separation between what a top flight AFC team looks like and a team that wants to be that.

In life when things aren't going your way you need to appreciate the little things, that defender was inspirational more than anything...

Oh how can i forget, Pitta played great and it was great to see. I have to wonder if he just like everyone else needed to complete get right after the hip injuries. Even if it's a result of the Dolphins LBs not being good in coverage, Pitta looked to have his burst, the little he has lol, back today.

Please make the playoffs, Flacco can pull out his best games.

Flacco is just like Randy Moss,,,He can play when he really wants to.
