[News] 5 Things To Watch vs. Miami Dolphins

21 posts in this topic

Both defenses are strong on third down, so big plays could make the difference. Ravens want to force Tannehill to take chances and make mistakes. Will this game be decided in the trenches? Miami's front seven is no joke either.

Let's get it done boys !
I hope we move the pocket around a little bit on 3rd downs or make them pay for bringing the house with a screen pass or two. Time for Joe to stop they're staring down his wide receivers and get a little bit of pocket awareness.

By now, we know what we're going to see: The Defense and Justin Tucker will earn their pay and get the job done. The offense will go up early and then disappear. Flacco will throw one TD, one INT, and a whole lot of 1-2 yard dump offs in between.

I love our defense- they do the best they can and it's only when they're exhausted that they fade near the end b/c the offense can't extend drives. Justin Tucker is the best in the league, and the team MVP (after all, he scores more points than Flacco), but this weekly broken record of offensive non-production is so frustrating to watch.

Miami's rush defense is ranked #30 in the league, and pass defense is top 10. If we're going to win, we're going to need to do it on the ground.

If Joe wakes up and plays like he did before his mega-contract we should win going away.

Roger that, b93333......I'll go with, just "wake up".

Summed it up perfectly. Five times up 10-0, and two other times up 7-0 in the first qtr. and in those seven games managed to score 20 points once! 23 against the Giants. At least Pathetic Joe puts in a solid 1/4 of a game to earn his 120 million dollars. Ravens cannot run, because no team in the league takes PJ seriously as any kind of threat.

Tired of hearing this same old song from Flacco. More aggressive? Really? How about being "more aggressive" by scoring more than once a game? How about throwing past the first down marker on third down instead of 3 yards short of it? For all the time and money spent on this meager offense, the defense has done a good job. Perriman, Mr. One Catch a Game first round pick? Geez.

Funny how you, CSFcab, forget to mention Joe's game winning touchdown drives against the Giants, Redskins & Raiders.....Defense choked like your Squealers did in last year's play-offs.

Just hope ALL the Fans show up and STAY. Last week against the Bengals lots of empty seats when Cinnci was driving in the last two minutes a third of the stadium had left. I go to all the Ravens home games and have been fortunate to be in a number of other stadiums for Ravens road games and other NFL games. By comparison we should/can make a lot more noise. And why do so many "Fans"(?) start leaving with eight minutes to go in the game? LAME.

Can't wait for this game. I just really enjoy the way this team plays in Dec/Jan. We always seem to play more intensely this time of year when our backs are to the wall. Need this win!!!

This is the game for the offensive line to give Joe one extra second, the wide receivers to catch every ball, the running backs to bang out yardage, and for Joe to have his best game this year. It is time to put on a show offense!!!! Let the defense watch the offense win this game. Defense will handle their business! It is December football and let us start playing like its the playoffs!!!

Good Luck Ravens!!!!! I am making fish for dinner! I hope you do the same!

Like a lot of games, it will be won at the LOS. The concern with the Ravens is can the offense play for 4 quarters and will the defense extend drive with penalties or big plays?
