Ravens Tattoo

When the ravens won in 2000 I wasn't old enough to get a tattoo yet, so I swore when I was old enough I'd get one the next time they won. This is the closest they've come so I need to start working out ideas for when they win. I only have three already. I'm not one for tattoos for the sake of tattoos, all of mine have some significant personal meaning to me, and they're not very large or ostentatious.

Anyway for the Ravens victory I want a Raven, not the logo, but a realistic depiction of an actual Raven, swooping in wings spread. I'd get 52 on the chest, 3 on one wing, and I was trying to think of which offensive player to put on the other wing. 85, or 5?

Any suggestions? Is this just stupid? If anyone has a Ravens tattoo what is it of, how did you decide on it?

I also swore I'd get one for the Orioles when they win a World Series......see how well that works out.....

Do any of you have any Ravens tattoos? I was thinking of getting one, but don't want to get one in fear of possibly the team moving to another city, etc. If this team moved cities I may not still like them like what happened to the Colts. Do you feel it's foolish to get one?

I think tattoos in general are stupid. Just think what you'll you like when your 65 years old with a wrinkly tattoo on your arm.

I started a post earlier about how I've sworn I'd get a tattoo when they win a super bowl since i was too young when they initially won. If it means something to you, that's all that matters. Of course no one will look cool at age 65, period. But if you've got a couple tattoos and they're special, they'll tell a story, they'll add character, and make you one cool old dude!

I love seeing old dudes from WWII and Korea with their tattoos, they tell a story and represent an important part of their lives. This isn't anywhere nearly as important as serving, but it's the same idea. If it's that important to you, that's what makes it cool! Go for it, but make sure you think hard about it, and make it cool!

I'd get the shield. Heck why not? I'm not against tattoo's at all, and all of the people that are like "well what about when your 60 and how will you look then with a wrinkly arm"

Nobody is going to care what you look like when you are 60, might as well enjoy things now and not worry about what your grandkids will say about a tattoo, infact getting one tells them you were a bit of a wild child back in the day

My question to you is, if for some reason we do not win are you still going to get the tatoo? If you are going to get it, go get it. Do not put it on the team put it on your fandom and get it!

You can not worry about something that you can not control. I can not say the Raven's will be here forever but I do not see them leaving anytime soon. So if you want one get one.

Your Avatar is the reason I want one, I personally never thought about it because I wasn't sure it would look good, but yours looks awesome. I only have two tattoos and both are meaningful and will be meaningful for the rest of my life, I want to continue that trend for my tattoos, so I don't want to just jump the gun because I am a fan and something happen down the road like they leave town, etc. Ya know?

I'm really poor since i'm in college and pay for everything myself. I'm waiting for the Super Bowl so it'll be more meaningful, more of a story behind it, i don't want to get it just to get it. I want it bad, but I want to make it that much more special. Plus as i said earlier i'm super poor so I have to justify it in as many ways as possible before i drop a lot of money
