Wow, I just read the article on ESPN about the resurgence of LaMar Woodley after last week's game. The article talked about how he hadn't recorded a single sack or over 5 tackles for the final 4 games of the regular season, but came alive in last week's match up with the Chargers.

I saw some Steeler fans posting that Ray Lewis and Suggs are just a bunch of chumps with no talent, and how the Ravens are the worst team in the NFL etc. etc.

We've all heard this crap before, but I can't help but get a little annoyed and try to inject some reality into the matter. I always try to make the point that WE ARE IN THE AFCC GAME!!! WE BEAT THE 1ST AND 3RD SEEDS!! RAY LEWIS AND SUGGS ARE ELITE TALENT!! etc. etc.

All I got back were some stupid insults, and a bunch of bs. I looked at these guys' profiles and they're in their mid to late 20's. I don't get it. I'm only 22 but I respect the game. I wouldn't talk nonsense about players or teams, because it's nonsense. You have to respect the game, even if it means respecting players or teams that aren't your own, or are your rivals, but this is the NFL. This is special, to see people just treat players and teams so immaturely really just gets my blood boiling. I don't get why so many guys have to act like they're in middle school, grow up, this is a man's game, treat it like one!

The thing that gets me though is when I find it to be 20-40 year olds doing it. Its so pathetic, and I dont see how you can consider yourself a true fan of the game when you can't see past your own team, or when you can't even be realistic about your own team. It's just sad, and it just made me really thankful to have such a great community here. The world outside of this forum is very obnoxious much more so than the occasional (or currently not so occasional) troll

Welcome to my world. I'm only 19, but it's the guys in their mid-twenties who make me look bad and make everyone assume that all kids graduating out of high school or just starting college, are immature.

It is beyond out of control though. After we beat them I wouldn't be surprised to see some tears in the ESPN studio.

Believe it or not, every fan will diss another team. And its most likely because they know just how good the other team is. Anybody who disses the Ravens know just how huge they can be and just how huge they are currently. They know we have a good defense and they try to use their mouths to put us down. Like i said They really have not won any games against any decent teams besides us and Philly ( We kick their ******). That New England game was played with a bunch of 2nd stringers, The Cowboys had them beat, Romo cost the boys that game with stupid plays and the Sd Chargers don't impress me at all. If it was not for the whuppin we tok in the Colts game, and giants I doubt very serouly Steelers would be sitting with #1 Defense.

Could you please direct me to this forum? I find it very difficult to believe Steelers fans are calling Suggs an Lewis "chumps" and "no talents" if they are, it's because they are complete idiots. [b]Pittsburgh fans and players have nothing but respect for these men
