[News] Dolphins Coming To Baltimore Red Hot, Game Features Another Battle In Trenches

Sometimes rookies don't really have a sense of what a big boy, pro, double chin strap game is about. I admire him, think he has done well, but whether or not he knows it, the type of hitting that goes on in this game will knock 2 or 3 years off your career. He thinks he has faced some tough defenses and maybe he feels he has, but it isn't the #1 run defense in the league who not only leads the league in fewest yards allowed but in running first downs as well, by almost 20, over the next closest team. This defense is much more than Jay Ajayi could imagine in his worst nightmare. It will be interesting to see what he has to say after 4 quarters of some up and close personal time with Brandon Williams and co. He would have done better had he faced the Ravens earlier in the season when his legs were the strongest and the Ravens defense was still getting it together. Right now, I am actually excited to watch our defense play, takes me back to the old days. You can see Flacco is running better and moving easier and when it gets cold, he gets hot. (if you watch Wired, listen to Dixon say that "for a big man, Joe was moving." You could see in his face Dixon was honestly impressed.) That's making me feel like the old Joe is getting close to healing and being himself again.

This secondary & Linebackers better put their big boy pants on because that's what its going to take to bring these guys down after they catch a pass playing off 5 yards. I watch these guys carry 2 to 3 49ners for some yards.

Don't know if you've noticed or not, but everyone carries the niners for 2-50 yards. It's the 9ers and Browns, then everyone else

Noone will be taking our defensive linemen for a ride on their backs, make no mistake about that!

Our LBs and Weddle won't go down without delivering some pain first, either.

You're right about the rest of the DBs though. At least half of them tackle worse than practice dummies (especially you, Webb).

Joe is going to put the pedal to the metal and light them up! It's that time of year LETS GO!

What in the world gives you any reason to think that?

Though, I sure hope so, too. Been hoping for it this entire season.

Your description got me so excited for our defense this Sunday! GO RAVENS!

I totally get up for games like this one. We have competed with every team this season but, it's time to take the next step. Time to go out there and "beat" this team like they've never been beaten before.

Ravens secondary are going to have a heck of a time tackling these guys after a catch. Webb especially, Jimmy's banged up. Wright and Young are only 180 at best. SIMS and JONES are 275. GANG tackling will be key for sure.
