Jacquouille

Joe Cullen

Hey guys, so here we are as the uncontested best run D in the league. We've all been talking about BWill and Pierce, and rightfully so, but I think the impact of Joe Cullen is very important as well. We've seen him developp this unit and some young guys (Pierce and Judon, namely) so I believe he should get some credit for the progress of the DLine and the whole defense.

OK... but wasn't the DL pretty good last year also... and pretty much every year before that?

All for coaching praise and everything, but he will get ripped to shreds on here the minute the Dline starts struggling.

It was good, like top10, but it became elite without any major addition, rookies excepted.

Well that and players like Jernigan taking a step forward in production and consistency (though he still struggles with this a little bit).

I like Joe Cullen, but I'm going to reserve any further praise until we see Pierce, Carl Davis, Willie Henry, Kaufusi, et all develop into something... I'd especially like to see Henry turn into something. Lets see how he does next year.

And with the edge guys, too. Zadarius, Correa, and Judon. I think Cullen does do some work with them.

One year isn't a big enough sample size for a position coach.

Only year I can remember them playing poorly was 12.  have to really think back before that.

Pierce is a major addition. He was probably the best UDFA of the year.
