Why do people keep talking about the Ravens holding and taking the safety? This is not "genius". It's been used many, many times for decades. I've seen this play happen since I was a child. Any coach in his right mind would do this. People are talking like it's something new. It's getting annoying.

When we had that genius play where everyone was holding the other team and it was a great play except for I just thought it was the Ravens blocking the way they normally do. (rimshot).

To quote Harbaugh from 2008 "Penalties are unacceptable and it has to do with discipline and that is on the coach." 8 years later we either lead the league or are second in the league in penalties and penalty yards. Just goes to show that knowing who is at fault and fixing it has a completely different meaning to the Ravens.

Then I thought about being told we were going to develop wide receivers and improve our offense, 8 years later, we are still waiting, but at least now we know the Harbaugh timetable to working on fixing our issues is when hell freezes over.

I had never seen it before.  Can you site some examples of when it was done in the past?  Be interesting to see how many times.

Well, like I said, it's been used for decades; so other than the Ravens SB win, I don't remember specific examples. It's not something you see often, because it's seldom teams are in that exact scenario. But it certainly is nothing new.

Cleveland, Pitts, Buffalo, NY Jets, SF, SD, LA , are Miami's 7 wins.... NE, Tenn, Cinn, and Seattle the losses. This Miami Team is very comparable to the Ravens. In fact I give the Ravens the edge in most categories. This is where penalties and turnovers will clearly make a difference. This past Sunday the Ravens outplayed the Bengals and so the mistakes could not outweigh and overcome the performance. So Ravens, lets make sure that does not happen this week! Clean it up and outplay the Dolphins.

must win game imo with the patriots on deck in their house which most likely is a loss.

Don't be to quick to thow the Ravens a loss in NE. They already have a nasty D and getting Dumervil back is going to help the pass rush a great deal.

What i love about our team, is we fear no one, we haven;t been blown out by any teams this year, have been in every game, and could have realistically won a few of the ones we lost....We will have the same O-Line for the 3rd straight game, the defense has been beastly, just have to stop Pees with the prevent when we have the lead, and we would look better.....Harbs if anything else is a great motivator, this team believes it can when every game, and they play like it for the most part...Lets not forget how young this team is, and the huge changes we made to key positions this year, and after all of that, we do control our own destiny leading the North.....

Way to look at glass half full. I agree with every point you made and also would like to add that I hope pees keeps his foot on the gas like he did against the bengals when they were close and it payed off!

Looking back the Jets (3-8) game was the biggest flop. Ravens lost to Raiders 9-2, Cowboys 10-1, Giants 8-3, and Skins 6-4. Also except for Dallas they were close. SO...Ravens really really need to beat a team with a winning record (Miami 7-4 ) and conference team. This could be the confidence builder win to propelled them on a big run. This game is BIGGER than Dallas game ever could be.

Playoffs, Playoffs? Their is only one obstacle in our way that matters right now and that's the Phins. Take it to them and don't let up.

it should come down to pitt and balt. when they meet again joe flacco needs to play much better than he has to win the division. he is still the down fall on offensive right now. I understand the line problems but the elite quaterbacks find a way.
