[News] Joe Flacco Needs To Ditch The Pop-Up Slide While In Knee Brace

9 posts in this topic

Time to practice the old two legged slide right on your big 'ol butt Flacco. Just get them dangling legs in front and and recline like it's your own personal Lazy-boy moment.

I don't understand why it's so hard for him to slide on his right leg. I played baseball up through college and know for a fact that most are taught at an early age how to slide on both legs. When sliding feet first, you should always want to slide with your back facing the direction the throw is coming from.

Joe one of those guys that can't or has a hard time changing any thing out of his norm. One reason the offense is so predictable.

Another non-story. Someone said something about this a couple seasons ago... I think athletes need to worry less about outside crap and do their job.  After 20 years of playing football, you shouldn't have to comment on someone's technique.

nobody does this. what you propose is an ideal.

the reality is that people launch for a slide off their dominant leg, which obviously cant also be the leg they land on.

Joe is right handed like most of the rest of the world.
