For the last play of the Dallas game at the 41-yard line, the Ravens should have taken 2 delay of game penalties to move Tucker to record field goal range (ball on Ravens 49). Then he'd have had the opportunity to set the record kicking in a dome with no wind. We were down by 10, so there was no opportunity to win anyway. Would have been fun to see a 68-yard field goal.

Not yet. I want to see Tucker break the record for most consecutive FG's made, so I don't want to risk that streak.

I don't want to see us manufacture an opportunity just to give him a chance. It would mean so much more if it comes about naturaly in a game

Would be nice if Harbs would put his attention to fixing the O,line so they could score some points. At this point in the season, Tucker is our only hope of putting up points

I wouldn't be opposed to that kind of rule change but, I truly don't think it will ever happen.

I agree that it would be cool AND that it will never happen.  The only thing I don't like about it is that there is no defense for it.  It basically just turns into a skill competition and the other team can do absolutely nothing to prevent that score.

I read this on another site but it was said more as Tucker joking around about the topic and Harbaugh simply said yeah I'd like that with our kicker.  

It is an interesting concept however.

I got an even better idea Harbs - how about we get our offense to score more then we won't have to worry about Tucker having to score more points

Didn't surprise me reading some of these comments. Forever negative no matter how many or how we score points. It's really kind of pathetic when we win a game and everyone is upset because our kicker had the most points. Who in the flip cares. We won!

Tucker is awesome. Worth every penny.
Also, I love the fact during the SB celebration after the win, he took the SB trophy to his hotel room in NO to have a personal celebration with himself, wife to be, and the trophy. Rookie steals off with the SB trophy. Being a kicker myself, been a big fan of his from day one.
