Time to Panic

7 posts in this topic

This is not the  Ray Lewis / Ed Reed defense, and unless the Ravens figure out a way to get this offense moving, they will be watching the playoffs on TV, just like the rest of us. I Can't figure out if the problem is Flacco, offensive line, or offensive coordinator, or all three. I personally believe that it is all three.  With the remaining schedule they can't continue winning with Tucker field goals. Strong arm Quarterbacks shred this defense every week. Yes folks , there is trouble, right here in Charm City.

Dude. We may not be a great team right now, but definitely not time to panic. We are in 1st place in our division. And our defense isn't getting shredded every week...we were the #2 defense coming into the game and gave up 1 touchdown!

So no, I am not hitting the panic button!

Ill go even further and break down the final 5 games for the only two teams in the AFCN who matter,

Ravens: Dolphins, @Patriots, Eagles, @Steelers, @Bengals

Steelers: Giants, @Bills, @Bengals, Ravens, Browns

Now, knowing the final 5 games, I would say the most likely scenario is that the division comes down to the rematch between the Ravens and the Steelers.  For the purposes of that prediction assume that the Ravens lose @Patriots and then also lose one of the other 3 not steelers games and then assume that the Steelers only lose 1 of there none 4 @Ravens games (I honestly could argue any of there next 3 opponents could take them especially Giants and Bills) and even in that scenario which is great for them it still comes down to the rematch.  I will take that position this close to the end of the season every single time.
