[News] Ravens React To Snapping Five-Game Skid To Bengals

14 posts in this topic

The Ravens definitely would not have won if Tucker wasn't playing. Doesn't anyone remember WHY we have lost 5 previous meetings to Cincy? I sure do. It is because Flacco plays his worst football against them. He single handedly gave the Bengals both games last year, yet, even when he was playing so poorly, Harbaugh wouldn't take him out. He didn't do squat this game either. If you eliminate the first drive, he did absolutely nothing that any mediocre quarterback couldn't do.

"The Ravens definitely would not have won if Tucker wasn't playing" - Well, good thing he was. That's why we payed him.

"Harbaugh wouldn't take him out" You don't take out your Super Bowl Winning QB. You just don't.

"He didn't do squat this game either. If you eliminate the first drive, he did absolutely nothing that any mediocre quarterback couldn't do. "

If you eliminate his TD drive, but count the pick that wasn't his fault, of course it's going to look like he played a bad game.

You are blinded by your hate. Reject the dark side.

It is a bit bizarre. I am not sure what they are trying to prove. I think it is an attempt to discount a win because winning doesn't fit their narrative. What is clear is that these curmudgeons have a very limited understanding of the game. Either that or they just don't watch the games. A lot of the things that they say just don't match up with the game stats.

Joe completed 70 percent of his passes in this game. Only one quarterback had a better completion percentage during week 12.  He also had the second highest grade on our offense.  But as I have said before you repeat the same thing over and over and over again (even when someone clearly proves you  wrong) because you don't know enough about football to give any type of meaningful analysis of the game.

Yeah I remember why - because the defense somehow forgets to cover their only weapon - A.J. Green even on a hail mary pass at the end of the games.

And it's hard for Flacco to give the game away last year when he was out for the year with a knee injury.

SMH, some geniuses just want to talk crap with made up stuff.

Joe said he was "feeling comfortable in the pocket" during that game. That's a very good sign mentally for Joe and the offense line might be improving. We shall see.

Miami rushing defense is 30 in the league. This would be promising except Browns are the 31st and Ravens could only get 65 yards Want see improvement in offense? Lets see a more than 103 yards.

I agree... So let's see.... if we just pick and choose what we want to eliminate. Let's see, if you eliminate the Bengals team, we'd have shut them out. And if you eliminate their pass rush, Joe wouldn't have been sacked. I hate when people say these things.  ONE play doesn't win or lose a game. There is more to the game than that. There are 3 sides to the ball.... Remember that folks. If we eliminate our #2 ranked rushing defense, then they run Jeremy Hill all over us. We could do "what ifs" all day long.

Where are all the critics that said the Ravens paid too much for a kicker now? Money well spent, especially since kickers generally rack up a significant amount of points over a season not to mention the clutch kicks when you need them.
