Hmmm, Really good list.
I would have Milloy in for Lynch. Lynch is all the way overrated.
I wouldn't have Gruden there either. I'd go for Dungy.

I think Shawn Alexander should be on there before Edge. Also there is no way Joey Porter belongs on there. This year is the only good year he has had. He is all talk that almost never backs it up.

Nice to see rodney harrison get some love from someone at least, for 8 straight years (minus '98 when he only appeared in like 6 games) he was perennially a 100+ tackles player. Anyone else feel when bob sanders won DPOY that harrison had gotten totally jobbed in years past from the award.

Sanders 2007 DPOY season: 97 tackes, 3.5 sacks, and 2 ints. (his best season hands down)

Harrison 2000: 127 tackles, 6.0 sacks, 6 ints.

Guess thats what happens when your voted the dirties player in the league routinely, but damn that dude could play.

Firstly you can't say a player got jobbed by comparing a players stats for one season to the winner's, because the other contenders may not have been as good that year or whatever.
Secondly Sanders didn't win the award because of his stats, he won it on how valuable his was to the D (which is why they should have a DMVP seperate to DPOY).

That is entirely true for each year candidates being different, but Harrisons 2000 year was not an anomoly he did that routinely for 8 years. In 2007 Cromartie had 10 ints, which is pretty ridiculous and worthy of DPOY talk. I actually like that idea DMVP and DPOY. If they want to take into account how a player affects his defense then guys like lewis and merriman should be given "boosts"(dont know what else to call it) in the voting. All in all it was just nice to see Harrison get some love from someone for a change.
