Got to get jimmy back and continue improving on DLine. We might just be able to ride out the season with Special teams and the Defense.

Just win

At this point that's all we have. Style points are out of the window for this team. Just win and get into the dance anyway you can. There isn't a team I don't think the Ravens couldn't beat, but I don't think there is a team I'd feel 100% certain they'd win.

I've come to just accept this team and season for what it is.

This is a really good post. I'm NEVER confident, yet NEVER hopeless. Guess I will just have to accept this again for the year. Just SO frustrating.

Living in FL, I'm sure I'm going to see even more Dolphins jerseys than in recent time. They have been one of the hottest teams so I don't think this team will look down (if that is even possible) on the Dolphins.

To me, this is a must-win and Jimmy can't come back any sooner. I can't trust this secondary against the likes of Landry, Parker, and Stills.

Yeah today was a lot more peaceful for me. Even after going up 16-3 at half, i just anticipated the offense to not do much and the defense to give up about 10-14 points in the second half to make the game close. So when it happened i wasn't mad. Actually expected the Bengals to score on the last drive and Tucker to win it so it was a pleasant surprise to see how it ended.

Than I look around the NFL and nobody is really playing lights out football except for the Cowboys who can't stop this team from winning the division or having success in the playoffs so it's cool.

I had the game on the Miami Niners game on the TV while watching ours on the tablet. Miami really didn't look all that great. TBH the Niners D the entire game looks like ours in the 4th. But with that means we're gonna have to keep the game close the entire time. If we get a big lead, and big I mean 10 points I have zero confidence in either side of the ball coaches to call the right plays and we're gonna lose. As long as it's close, and even us e trailing going into the 4th we'll be ok and win, maybe even easily.

Noooo.  Wins must be pretty.  Joe needs to be able to predict when a lineman will make a good play then telepathically phase the ball through his hand if he swats it.  Joe must also become an omega-level mutant and slow down his environment each time the o-line fails to do its job.  He must achieve a 0% errant pass rate like the one that doesn't exist with my favorite overrated QB.  He's gotta be magic.  It helps me cope.  /sarcasm

All seriousness.  I think we have a chance if the o-line can get back to what it was against the Browns/Cowboys and even today on the first drive.  Style points are nice but I'm mostly ok with an offense that does as good as its line.  All these insane magical QB expectations are bound to decrease at some point.

Whoever it is will have to play a great game on both sides of the ball I think. Right now I only see NYG, SEA and ATL as the teams they'll have problems with, but any given Sunday come playoff time.

You'd think we'd be used to it by now right? Even the SB victory played out this way. Unstoppable offense early, dominate defense than second half you gotta just hang on for the win. At least in the SB we could blame the light outage lol

Hey apparently 120M should get you all the works lol

I don't even think it's the oline. I mean we aren't the Boys or Raiders oline but they are well enough. Wagner and Stanley are really getting back to playing well on the outside and Yanda at LG is just as good as KO imo. Both Zuttah and Vlad are serviceable but that's probably all you could ask for right now. I think the issue is tempo of the game. The Ravens just don't stay aggressive long enough on offense imo and it doesn't help the oline. If we took more shots once we got across the 50 it'd take some pressure off the oline imo. I don't think the Ravens can survive as a ball controlled offense. Too many penalties and missed assignments for that. They have to get more chunk plays because they offesne is built for it imo. Even if you are only getting 50/50 balls and some DPI that will open things up. Once you open things up the defense will be on their heels more often than not because it's hard to defend, deep, intermediate and playaction.

worried about the DL, but i feel good about everything else. if jimmy is back then jarvis landry and parker will be shut down, jimmy can handle both of them easily and i believe tavon young is a great matchup with parker, ball skills vs ball skills, and young is the more explosive of the 2, as long as we can keep jimmy on landry we should be good. we did well against the cowboys run game til the very end so i have no doubts about handling ajayi.

but once again... the offensive line is incredibly worrisome. it sucks weve had so many injuries and zuttah just fell off the face of earth since 2014, because the unit looked good on paper, but its a disaster. just hope like hell we can contain suh.

That's the key phrase right there...

If Jimmy plays Wright might not even see the field.

We will have Jimmy, Young, and Wright. Powers won't see more playing time than Wright, nor should he.

Powers has been playing in the slot and has done a damn good job. His snaps aren't affected by Wright unless Wright is our #1 and gets injuried. Tavon's the consensus #2. With Jimmy in there's no place for Wright besides backup outside CB. Tavon took his starting spot.

there are 4+ wr packages which need 4 corners.

if shareece wright is your 4th corner, you have a pretty good situation.

the problem arises when your number 1 corner goes down, then everyone jumps around and suddenly wright and pwoers have way too much play time lol
