I actually liked that pees kept his foot on the gas today with his 4th quarter play calling. More so then usual anyway. Still saw a handful of very soft coverages. Can't say the same about the offense though. Seems as though they are playing not to lose instead of playing to win. Never keep there foot on the gas to finish the other teams. Has to be a harbaugh thing, because we've literally been through multiple coordinators and its the same results every time.

He wasn't abused. He's playing like how very good rookie undersized outside CB would. All things considered he's probably our best performing rookie this season. Definitely a top ten CB of the draft. He'll excell when we move him to the slot where he belongs.

Originally, I thought SCB only, but I think he's the new outside with 4 DBs, SCB in the nickel.  Like Webb and has hands, speed, and tackling skills Webb did as a young player.  We'll see where he fits with ability to be left on an island with bigger receivers, but he brings a lot to the position.

I am so excited after yesterdays game. Can anyone imagine just how much of a boost these games are having on our young players. Tavon, Breshad etc. Confidence growing with each play. Will pay off huge next season and beyond.

Considering the size difference, I thought Young did well against Eifert on the few times in the first half they tried to exploit that matchup.

First offensive drive was a thing of beauty after that..back to trying to emulate the Patriots. Shotgun formations that don't work and ditching Dixon and Breshad.

Pees having the corners play 15 yards off the WR's. This game should have been over in the second quarter.

GOOD

i don't think anybody can debate that Justin Tucker was the MVP of the game. He's absolutely money. Most kickers would be hesitant to go for a 57 yarder- but he actually runs out on the feild before getting the go ahead and just says "coach I got this"...a kicker like that is so valuable in AFC north football. He has ice in his veins and was worth every single penny.

Suggs- everybody knows he's basically playing with 1 arm and he's still making play after play. This man is a Raven to the core.

Doom- didn't get much pressure all game but he came through when it counted the most. When all of us where saying here we go again he made the splash play that sealed the deal. Welcome back doom.

Defensive line- absolutely love seeing them bat down so many balls. That has to be so frustrating for a qb..and they have been doing a lot of it lately. Not sure who it was that actually was batting the balls, I know suggs got one and I think urban , guy, judon and Bwill each got one too. Our d line Is ferocious- and once again we shut down a top rb..not sure what the final stat line was but I guarantee he didnt get over 70 yards on the ground. That's big time.

Secondary-once again playing without jimmy I was a little worried- but for the most part they stepped up and got the job done. Dalton had ALOT of time to throw and they still held their own and only gave up 1 TD. When Jimmy returns this group will be a force to be reckoned with. And once again Tavon young is just balling.

Orr- he just always seems to be around the ball and had a ton of tackles. He has really had a phenomenal year.

Perriman- didn't do much stat wise but made a fantastic catch when it counted the most. That first drive was a thing of beauty- and when you come out there and put up 7 that quick it really puts the opposing team under pressure and against the ropes. We need to get him the ball more- but he has shown that he can make some really tough and contested catches. He takes ALOT of criticism but I can clearly see this kid is going to be big for us in the future. Its a shame his development has been pushed back so much due to the injury but he now has proven that is behind him and he's making plays. Throw him the damn ball.

Wallace- didn't do much but always seems to come up with a big play when we really need it. Genius move bringing him in this off season, and def need to keep him around next year.

Dixon-  once again he keeps showing flashes. Nothing spectacular yesterday but solid play. He's another guy we need to get the ball More and next year will be his time.

O line- held up very well and kept flacco pretty clean for the most part. I think they might have had 2 sacks or so but he had pretty good protection all day.

Sam  koch and special teams- as soon as I saw how much time was remaining I immediately called it and said we were going to take a safety. We reached into the bag of tricks just like we did in the Superbowl and executed it to a T.  Koch played well all game and pinned them back several times- and our special teams as a whole pretty much won us the game. All of them found their man and held them perfectly. New England isnt the only team that can exploit them loopholes:D- had to be extremely frustrating for Cincinnati. Basically just put their season in a chokehold and watched it slowly die.

Hester- FINALLY actually had a pretty good game to my surprise. Made good decisions all game long and had a few nice run backs. He still scares me and he should be playing like this week in and week out so its really not like he should be commended for doing what he was brought here to do- but a good sign nonetheless. Might have saved his roster spot and kept campanaro on the waiting list.

Post game pressers with Suggs and Tuck- these guys are hilarious. I'm proud to be a fan of this team and love the whole organization top to bottom. Win or lose this team is awesome. I just really hope we can keep it up and make a deep playoff run for CB, SSS and suggs.

Came away with no injuries that I'm aware of. Thats always good.

BAD

weddles dropped interception. That was the perfect opportunity to really jump out on them and put them on the ropes. Hit him right in the chest, and ended up costing us 3 points I believe. Uncharacteristic of weddle, but he gets a pass BC of his solid play all year. I'm sure he was kicking himself for that one and still is.

Lack of pressure- we didn't really get to Dalton like i thought we would. He had all day to throw- and had AJ been playing we might've been in some trouble.

Steve Smith- 2 penalties that could've hurt us.  The first one was obviously instigated by Burfict and I'm sure he was running his mouth- but Steve should know that they usually always flag the second guy who retaliates. Burfict def flopped and sold it pretty well but still, it could've cost us if we didn't have a beast kicker. The second one where he pushed off wasn't that bad- and that guy also did a hell of an acting job falling down, but that was a drive killer at a point where we really needed to come away with a score and milk some clock. So really he didn't have a bad game per say- but not a good one either. But hey he's Steve- his presence alone fires up the team and opens things up for guys like Wallace.

- not putting them away. Once again we have the opportunity to pull away and put a team on the ropes but once again we fail to do so, let them hang around- and let it come down to the final 2 minutes once again. What is it with this team giving us near heart attacks literally week in and week out? We always get conservative when we have a little 10 point lead instead of keeping our foot on the gas and stomping on their throat. We won so I can't complain too much- but as we've seen it doesn't always turn out so well for us.

Didn't really see Boyle. Anybody know how many snaps he got? We need to start throwing to Waller more as well. And where the heck has Chris Moore been? Had a lot of hopes for that guy but he's done literally nothing outside of ST.

Joes slide. Not as bad as the first one, but def not pretty. Lol I know it must be hard to slide with that brace though and I love what he said in the presser about the guy from the orioles needing to slide into second with a brace on.

Good team win. Didn't really see anything "ugly" ...im sure many fans will knitpick and find several things to complain about- but overall we played a solid game in all 3 phases and kept the mistakes to a minimum. The offense needs to find a way to put it in overdrive and stop stalling out- but I have seen improvements , and we had a good balanced attack today as far as run/pass ratio. That's the key to us winning games. 5 more to go- 3 wins SHOULD do it but we need to shoot for them all. Can't count on other teams to lose, balls in our court and its up to us to keep winning and keep our destiny in our own hands.

Weddle already owning up that he should have had that INT and says he's going to hit the JUG machine.

Boyle got 20 snaps according to Zrebiec.  I think his biggest role is going to be as our blocking TE, so often you may not notice him, unless he either makes an amazing block to spring someone or costs us with a penalty/bad block, etc. (I did not analyze his play specifically so I do not know how he fared on those 20 snaps)

He was out there, but it was pretty much purely as a blocker.  He did his job well, too.  Far cry from what we've seen from the Hurst/Pitta/Waller combo at TE.

Yeah Boyle was making a difference. It was almost like having another lineman out there. Waller sprung a nice run too with a good block surprisingly

I was going to say that I thought he laid down some good blocks yesterday.

Ed Reed would have caught that....tried to run it back and then pitched it! :D

What's with the empty seats? M&T bank NEVER looks full.

Always full. Guessing you're looking just after half or towards the end of the game.

Nah, there were a ton of empty seats. My thinking is it was broker tickets they didn't sell.

I've been thinking about it for a while and RSR just had an article on it. M&T bank can't sell out anymore.

Game Attendance doesn't seem to be a problem at all for us. We're surpassing most of the league.

Average 2016 game attendance 71,114 (considered 100.1%) - Also top ten in the league 'home and away' attendance 99.1%

I believe that the Ravens offense was 5-16 on 3rd downs vs the Bengals?  If so, that's pathetic and indefensible!  Smh!

I love seeing responses like this.  Simple fact checking on google goes a long....long ways.

That was so agonizing to watch. Very few things irritate me more than seeing dropped INTs.

I said it at the beginning of the year, Marvin Lewis has to be gone for sure after watching that game.

Yeah - he definitely did us a couple favors. I couldn't believe he declined the penalty that would take us out of Tucker's range. When he called TO, I thought they were stopping play because we threw the challenge flag. Nope, he just was giving us an opportunity to get a better look. I'm sure Bengals fans were not pleased with Marvin in that game.

Not sure he'll be gone, but that was not good.

Great: Forget good ... let's talk about GREAT ... which is what Justin was. But then, do you really need to be told that? Another "great" was our run D. They've been just that in most games this year.

Good: Pass rush ... at least toward the end of the game. That needs to be a little more consistent and hopefully will be as Doom gets his legs under him. I guess you could say the secondary was good, considering the loss of Jimmy. O line was also good ... nice to see them have the same group on the field for 2 consecutive games for a change.

Bad: Offensive rhythm. Not sure why we abandoned the no huddle. It worked so well to start. I understand you can't do it every possession, or you may end up looking like the 2015 Eagles. But once they got stagnant ... go back to it.

Ugly: Penalties ... sigh ... SSS puts us out of FG range if we have anyone not named Justin. Then we have a penalty that should have put him out of range (Thanks Marvin). Then we finish the game with a pass interference that kills our drive before it gets started, get an illegal hands to the face on D that cost us 3 points and then a block in the back on the kickoff that puts us inside our 10. Without those, there is no nail biting. I'd say we need to stop it, but at this juncture, it seems like we'll have to continue to overcome it, because it is become like death and taxes.

Dixon was so impressive too, he's so good at weaving through traffic and there was more than once that he was met in the backfield only to break a tackle or two and make something out of nothing. Anyone doubting him just need to stop, if our line blocked at all then he would have had a monster day.

Well said. Also West has been very impressive as a big back. Very good vision and power running. Could be the Baltimore BUS. Excellent tandem.

That was the result of a flop, by the linebacker Burfict, a technique perfected and used liberally by Wes Welker when he was a Patriot, of course. Not SSS's fault.

Burfict is a punk too. Glad we finally got a win over them.
