Pitta has almost gotten Flacco killed a couple of times lately.....love me some Dennis Pitta but his blocking has been pitiful.

Well... first of all he's never been a bocking TE - second it wasn't that many times really, it's just that those were lavishly shown, making it look like all Pitta's been doing lately is missing tackles.

Perhaps Pitta's whiffs have been well documented and are therefore a bit over blown, but to your point - he's never been a blocking TE. The problem is - over the course of this season, he's not been much of a receiving TE either. You only are willing to put up with poor blocking at the position, if the player makes up for it and some in the pass game.

The TE position has been a dead-zone for this team this year, despite all of the investments we've made. Boyle needs to step forward as the savior of that slot. We all talk about needing to improve the run game, well perhaps a change at the TE position will help. I think Boyle has also shown promise in the pass game. I'm really hoping that he can take that starting position - if not immediately, very, very soon.

I liked the move of Webb to Safety and I was right. Webb has been playing better. Ravens Safeties - Weddle, Webb, Elam, Landon Collins, LB/DB Sua Cravens instead of Perriman and Correa. Maybe the Ravens get Perriman in the 2nd round instead of Maxx Williams. I wanted to move Osemele to LT and draft Conklin.

I agree, Webb is starting to come into his own now as a safety after a learning curve. I hope he keeps it up.

Weddle was really a great signing - one that you just knew couldn't go wrong (barring an injury) - just like with Steve Smith or Shannon Sharpe back then.

I would also mention Mike Wallace. The guy has been doing exactly what the hope was he'd do - what he was brought in for. No doubt it's been money well spent so far.

Shame Watson got injured... it could have been the best vet FA-trio acquisition in franchise history. But hey... 2 out of 3 (and the third one not a bust either, just unfortunate) is still pretty good.

I could not agree more. Ozzie did good. It was a shame Watson got hurt, because I think he would have really helped this offense.
