Kubiak's decision to go for the field goal was dumb dumb DUMB.

Yeah seriously. Your guy has decent range but he ain't Tucker. You don't even attempt that given the situation.

Tucker would have made it... and had enough distance on it to make it from 70 lol. I can imagine Tucker watching that missed Kick like... "He missed that, that's a chip shot for me".

So for one week Miami is in and Denver out of the playoffs... sorry in advance for knocking you right back out of it next week.

Especially given the fact that it's in Denver. Most kickers can kick farther up there. I can definitely see Tucker getting a sixty some yard field goal.

Also, I think this game might have knocked Denver out of the playoffs. Both Denver and Kansas City have really tough schedules, but Denver's is slightly tougher. The Broncos have road games against the Titans (who have the potential to outscore anyone right now), and the Chiefs. They also have home games against the Patriots and the Raiders. It really wouldn't shock me of they go 1-3 during that stretch. They could even lose all four of them. They needed this home win badly.

They'll be relying on the AFC North to take down Miami a bit. Here's to hoping the Ravens can help them.

We'll help Denver for one week, and that's it. After that, I'll be rooting for Miami to still overtake Denver down the stretch to keep Denver out of the playoffs at the end of week 17.

Next week is a massive game...loser probably doesn't make playoffs, though we're in better position than MIA since we can still win division.

They were talking about this on the Red Zone channel. The host pointed out that if the Broncos lose tonight, they also lose the #6 spot to MIA.

Sounds like the Dolphins overtaking the Broncos is a pretty finicky tiebreak at the moment...Just saw this reported on ESPN:

I have seen it written that the Dolphins "control their playoff destiny." They do not. At this time, Miami holds the No. 6 seed in the AFC due to conference record tiebreaker over Denver. But that lead is flimsy, and a due to an unequal number of games. Miami is 5-3 against AFC opponents. Denver is 4-3. So for example, if both teams win their next two games, Denver would catch them at 6-3 (because one of Miami's is against an NFC opponent), and Denver would reclaim the spot due to a better record against opponents it has in common with Miami (3-1 versus 1-2 against Cincinnati, San Diego and Tennessee). Obviously, winning out and getting to 11-5 would put the Dolphins in a strong position, but mathematically, at this time, it would not guarantee them anything.

Packers snapped their 4 game losing streak, and next week they get the lowly Texans. Nothing like a soft schedule to give everyone the impression they are back before reality hits in Week 14 when they play Seattle and they still suck.

I'm not sure there are any REALLY good teams out there, other than maybe the Cowboys and Patriots.  Seattle's offense has looked pretty pathetic at times.  Plus, I'm not sold on anyone in the NFC North.  Minnesota has fallen off a cliff after their hot start and Detroit keeps squeeking out games in the 4th qtr.  Can they keep that up?  Will any team step up and claim that division?

I thought the same things. Patriots and Cowboys. Maybe the Raiders. I've been waiting for them to fall from grace, but maybe they're legit.

Raiders O-line and offense are legit. I have some questions about their defense but they have a couple impact players there that help. Don't know if I trust them in January but their offense is tough to beat
