[News] Who's Practicing, Who's Not vs. Cincinnati Bengals

38 posts in this topic

We can't ever seem to play winning football against the bengals. Joe will look lost as usual an throw a few picks an our corners will struggle. We cannot play zone defense to save our life's. I'm still trying to figure out why we kept a million tight ends an we don't have enough corners. They also need to play Waller more at te.

Cinci will bring the house....The Ravens need to prepare to run the Ball and do the same. Marvin Lewis knows the Ravens weakness is the O-line. He will punish our Tackles and push on Joe. So this is the perfect time to move Joe around and go to the no huddle right away.
Use all of the Running backs available, let Joe quick pass and roll out....even run option. Do not try to drop back to pass...that will come once cinci is forced to release.

Please use Dixon more. It's so obvious he is a better option for our offense than West, primarily because of the receiving and make you miss threat.

IMO let Jimmy rest this week and roll with our back-ups. Without AJ Green, it will be tough for Cinncy to beat us downfield.

Absolutely....Dixon has much better speed off the block. He accelerates really well which is what we need. The Ravens are not getting time on offensive plays. They need to get Defenses back into the prevent. Right now that's not happening which means the opposing D can fill the gaps quicker.
West also seems to wear out, he should be used as the 2nd back he has power and I like him but not as a #1. He is trainable. I say use Juice and Dixon they are our promise, put Boyle in there for a bigger blocking TE and run it down their throats ....push it to Russell street !

Gonna need some PA this week to keep Bengals defense guessing and spread them out. Do not stop toting that rock. Be smart when to run and keep the defense honest. Pass game will benefit if they can run the ball effectively.

Keys to game are: 100 yards rushing, play stout defense and do not turn the ball over or commit avoidable penalties. Get back to Ravens football, games are won and lost in the trenches.

gruden hires the cowboys o-line coach bill callahan and 2 years later the skins have the no.3 offense in the league. harbs sticks with castillo and we all have seen his results.

This offense makes me sick. Flacco sucks this year- there's no sugar-coating it. Ray Lewis was perfectly justified in his comments. I couldn't believe it when Joe actually said they should have won against Dallas. No, they shouldn't have because like so many times this year- Joe and the offense he was supposed to lead proved unreliable. Oh but wait- Joe is actually very passionate. It's just his personality to act like he doesn't care. I have a horrible feeling that as long as Joe Flacco is QB in Baltimore, the Ravens will be nothing  more than a mediocre team. Especially if we draft the way we have since 2008...

That's a decent part of it but he also stopped the qb carousel and Cousins is a decent qb when he has talent around him.

Ravens need to control the clock on offense more, period. I'm happy to see some guys on O getting back on the field. We need everyone desperately. And the penalties need to stop. We do these things and the D will stay fresh and they can work through injuries on their side of the ball.
