I doubt that Boldin would actually come back. I read he was recently asked about coming back here and his only reply was " Is Harbaugh still the coach there? "

lol.  Where did you read that?

From an article on a certain date where you should believe nothing you read.

RSR.  On an article written on 4/1/17.  Completely credible and legitimate..........

Boldin picked it up when new coordinator came in. And for all the talk about more productive WRs. Boldin was the only WR that was money in playoffs.

I'm not denying that Cam Cameron wasn't a problem  and Boldin was money for The Ravens but he was able to play with speedy receiver to take the pressure off of him unlike Derrick Mason. Boldin also was able to  go  to the playoffs consistently out of the three years he has been with The Ravens unlike Steve Smith Sr.Even though I feel like Derrick Mason and Steve Smith Sr were better receivers than Anquan Boldin it's no denying that Boldin just was more fortunate and came in at the right time.

I wholeheartedly agree with this; SSR and Mason's experiences and skillsets are no different than Boldin, and they all excel as possessive receivers.  It's a matter of luck per say.....

I agree.  Mason did a lot more with less (he had Boller and Wright throwing him the ball and still eclipsed 1k yards) while never having a true threat opposite him.  Smith Sr was just an animal considering his age.  Boldin had the best WR opposite him in his time here among the 3 by far, and thus had less pressure.  Mason did disappear in January though

@jamisonhensley Can confirm this: Ravens want to check out where Mangold is health-wise.

@grassman225 That's part of it. Want to see where he's at physically, mentally, etc. He's struggled last 2 years. If he looks good, they're interested

Per today's presser, Ozzie said it was "highly probable" that another signing would take place prior to the draft.

Disappointing. Hope he didn't fail his physical. Obviously still possible it's a money issue but doesn't bode well.

It's possible. I believe Ducasse visited and left without a contract and was signed later on. Just from what I recall in past years we typically sign guys while they're in the building. The exception being when we host a workout like we did for Hester, I don't believe that was the case with Mangold. Considering the physical was a concern it's a little unsettling.

It shouldn't but from what I heard both sides have interest and the visit was really good.

RayRay you are the supreme poster on this board. Your style is funny. And you are no nonsense in wanting the ravens to be Super Bowl champions. You are definitely a ravens perfectionist.

Not sure mangold is gonna happen. It seems he's been broken down physically. He was a gifted mauler and physical beast, it was his calling card, once you get older and knicked up enough you lose what makes you great. It's like the way ngata fell off due to constant injuries

Jason La Canfora‏ @JasonLaCanfora

Ravens had a good meeting with C Nick Mangold, are comfortable w/his medicals. Nothing imminent there but a deal could emerge

It doesn't mean the Ravens won't sign him in the days ahead. There's interest on both sides. Will just have to work out details.

Several sources saying we are actually very close on a deal to bring back Ladarius Webb.

I certainly wouldn't mind if its cheap. He'd be great depth and has always been a team player.

Not only wouldn't I mind it, I'd love it - he'd be amazing quality depth or as a 3rd safety

Pending injuries, Ravens would have the best secondary in the NFL. Especially if they picked up someone like Desmond King in the 2nd or 3rd.

We should trade for Sheldon Richardson if jets are shopping him. He is a genuine penetrator on the line. We wouldn't miss Jernigan if we brought him.
