[News] Joe Flacco: 'We Should Beat Dallas, And I'm Not Kidding'

The Ravens hung with the Cowboys for the first half, but the offense didn't do enough with its limited chances, in part because of three penalties from center Jeremy Zuttah. Neither side of the ball made enough big plays.

I agree with Joe. The Cowboys didn't stop our offense. Stupid penalties did. Our defense got torched in the second half, but if it weren't for the penalties, we could have had a bigger lead, more rhythm on offense, and a more rested defense.

We get into FG position and someone messes up and we end up going backwards. It's gone that way all year. We're not winning ugly as in the past....We're losing ugly.

140 yards in penalty yards. You are NOT going to win games playing with no discipline. We did not generate any pass rush in the 2nd half and made a rookie QB look like a seasoned vet!

Nice in theory but in reality our offense never plays like it should. We have had years of slow starts and the offense disappearing in games. It fact they have disappeared in every game this year.

“They scored every time they got the ball,” Flacco said. “When it’s that kind of game, we have to do the same thing.”

On Sunday, the offense just wasn’t sharp enough, and didn’t make any plays of 30 yards or more.

I knew that once that Cowboys offense got rolling that the Ravens offense wouldn't be able to match them score for score.  They haven't been that type of offense all season.

What has happened to Flacco's mechanics? Just horrendous and totally unexceptionable at this level. Today - 3 back foot lobs, a couple across the body throws to nobody. Grade D -

That entire second half sucked! Terrible penalties and missed calls by the refs, no pass rush, abandoned the run game after starting strong, db's still playing 40 yds off the opposing receivers, I could go on and on. Smh same old stuff week after week. It's gotten old.

Yea our last few drafts have not been good. Other than CJ Mosley, our drafts have sucked.

They haven't been that kind of offense since that Minnesota game that was so crazy in the snow. Otherwise they are incapable in The Joe Flacco era of doing it. The difference being Joe is the worst QB in the NFL right now and other years just mediocre but not so embarrassing.

Even though he's a veteran, right now Joe needs a QB coach. He's developed some bad habits that need attention. Time to go back to 2010 when Al Saunders and Jim Zorn were truly helping Joe with his mechanics. Joe was much more consistent. Face it. He's starting to look like Jeff George. This years offense should be putting up 25-30 points a game. There's a reason it is not. Coaching..or the lack of it.

oh,is ZUTAH still playing after his 60th penalty of the season, than thats the coaches fault, but what he and the rest of the penalty ridden team is really saying by continually making penalties is,yep I don't want to play for this coach or QB anymore.hope people got a good look at what we used to be,tough, mauling and physical on offense,we might not of won every game, but if you looked at the next weeks injury report of the team we just played more than half their team was on it!just like OAKLAND,the COWBOYS took our blueprint and we took the BEATDOWN!

We really seriously need to look at QB's in the draft. Dak was picked in 3rd round and played better than Flacco today. I know we all remember the Kyle Boller days but come on man Joe is not a franchise QB and since he is the worst in league now we really can't fall much further.

Our problems are the same problems we've have the last few years. We have one good corner that's always hurt an we can't play zone defense. Our offensive play calling does look better most of the time but we have a qb that doesn't play like a nine yr vet. Our offensive not being able to sustain drives hurt our defense. It's time to get some corners that can play man coverage. I do like tavon an jimmy but we need some more size an talent at corner?

So Joe gives up his QB coach to be the OC and that seems to be helping, now he needs more coaching. I'm not buying that. The Ravens front line was 2-3 seconds worse than Dallas every play. First Half , Ravens were robbed of a score due to 2 missed calls, clear defensive holding and PI on Dallas. 2nd half Dallas out played the Ravens position against position. Defense should have blitzed more. No excuses....Ravens fell apart, team loss. I know that many fans want a Joe Montana, but we have a Joe Flacco. So that means we need to get our front line back to full health, developed, mistake free and develop/find a Tony Dorrsett... and a Shannon Sharpe...

Joe audibles sucks too. Many times we lose yards when the box is stacked and he doesn't audible to a slant or something. Time to change his contract. Get some corners and some pass rushers.

That's all mostly true. Having said that, we still have a chance to go all the way this year. We can't do it if a few key players like Jimmy aren't healthy though. And Joe obviously has to turn it on. If not, one of the three Ravens head big dogs better get off their seat and put Mallet in the game. We probably still have Doom coming back too. Bengals just were decimated today too. We can afford to lose to the Pats in the regular season. Though I obviously don't want to. But if we take care of business elsewhere, we're in. Then we all know as well as Pats fans what we can do then. So while there's a bunch to gripe about, maybe we should just focus and be grateful that we are in FIRST place and control our own destiny in terms of making it to the dance. There are plenty of other fans on here than just whine and complain. Not used to seeing it from you

I really think it is time to try Mallet. I am sorry I have been a Flacco fan for 81/2 years now and I must say for 9 years in the league he SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!! He has gotten too comfortable with the money we need somebody hungry. Perhaps he wants to spend more time with his family in Jan. Joe must kind of like being home ? We are used to winning and we are spoiled! Cant change that but really Joe? Sharice wright! sounds like a girl and he plays like one another one who should be benched. He has no clue and I don't know why the coaching staff plays him or how they gave him money. Powers another one who should not be on the roster next year! Man these guys are vets and they play worse than first year rookies! One play powers didn't even know where #11 he turned all the way around!!!!!!was and they were running towards the sidelines!! Comon man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That just goes to show you He is not interested in winning! Its just a job to Joe. He is a millionaire. He could care less about a superbowl he got his dream already and his family is set for life. What he does from here on out really dosent matter, he is rich!!!!!!!! He had passion, money took it away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So much talent, so little execution and desire to win :( Truly sad thing is, that this is our last shot for a serious playoff run for the next couple of years. Consider this: SSS will retire, we'll be short of a starting WR; Suggs and/or Doom will retire, we'll be short of a starting caliber pass rusher; B.Williams will (probably) be somewhere else, we'll be short of a NT. Add that to all the other holes or upgrades needed on this team, like C, RT, CB, S. There are way too many wholes to fill with just one offseason.
