Those are his achilles.

It was my thoughts when watching their game vs the Skins, but Cousins found a guy wide open every time, they beat the blitz every time. We just need to be prepared for it, they'll get an interior push but they don't have a good pure pass rusher so they need to bring the house a lot.

I'm not sure if it's Joe or his calls. For a long time with Cam everyone assumed it was Cam not letting Joe "check out" of a play. But he has been allowed. I dunno if it's they just don't practice hot reads and changing plays to take advantage or Joe just isn't quick enough to get it out.

Yeah that makes me nervous for this game. With Jimmy, I thought for sure we'd shimut their offense down with Green and Bernard out. With Jimmy our, I THINK our defense can di ok, but offense may need to put up a respectable number.

Yeah, Pees really needs to figure out how to get our zone coverage working with what we have. They looked pitiful the 2nd half last week when in zone and we can't allow it to continue.

If anything, I really am looking forward to see how Ozzie addresses the CB position for the offseason.

i suppose that if he's going to miss another game then at least its against the Bengals without AJ Green. And getting Doom back against their struggling oline will take some pressure off the secondary.

Ozzie should have known Jimmy was going to hurt his back.

We should fire Ozzie because of this .

Adam Caplan has reported if we beat the Bengals and the dolphins beat SF Sunday then our game against each other the following week could be flexed to Sunday night. I definitely wouldnt mind it.

That would be cool, but it ain't gonna happen. Has to be decided a minimum of 12 days in advance except for week 17(6 days). It could move to late afternoon though.

Hmm that's good to know. Wonder why he reported that then?

Maybe he meant 4:15, which I think would be good too just to switch things up.

I live in South Florida so I was seeing it anyway.  I'd rather not give people another look at our team for a prime time game if we don't have to.  Patriots are either Sunday or Monday the next week anyway.

I swore they moved the Niners Patriots game within 7-10 days, but could be wrong.

With Jimmy Smith out and AJ Green out I think that is a wash. I don't see any of the Bengals receivers being threats. If the corners have a hard time this week they should all be cut. What I am worried about is Eifert but luckily Weddle and Webb have been really good against tight ends this year. I think this will be an ugly game but as long as the offense runs the ball 20+ times the team should win. But Jimmy Smith needs to come back fast or the team is in trouble. The defense goes from being shut down and the best in the league with him out there to one of the worst. One of the most underrated players in the league.

AJ green means nothing to me this game. It's not that I think our defense is bad, because that's not the case. Our offense is so trash l, that people are going to get w lot of chances wgainst our D. When the cowboys converted that 1st and 20 drive, See didn't touch the ball, because it doesn't matter who it is after a while. Tewke find a way. But our offense doesn't and that scares me more than who's on the other side of the ball

Sometimes the back tightens up when you try to do too much, I don't think its that he didn't fully recover from the injury but from the fact that he might have slightly had a small setback. Sometimes they just tighten up for no apparent reason. It happens. That might be the case here or maybe it's precaution. I'm really hoping for the latter.

Flacco does check out of plays but not every offensive coordinator  like Cam Cameron and Gary Kubiak give their quarterback full control to do so.

Has Joe EVER done ANYTHING before the snap except call a timeout? I've seen him SEE blitz formations and ignore then multiple times. It's extremely rare that he makes pre-snap adjustments.

He made one week one that resulted in a TD to Wallace. But I def agree he needs to do it more.

I don't think his pre snap adjustment is as rare as some believe. He's not like Peyton Manning with it but he definitely does make pre- snap adjustments but he doesn't do it all the time.

Peyton's adjustments where obvious but didn't result in positive results very often... I lose count how many times I heard Omaha, then saw an incomplete pass it a two yard run.

Turn of the Tide:

  • We've owned the Cowboys for over a decade (4-0) until last Sunday when they finally got a 1st win.
  • The Bengals have totally owned us for 3 years (5-0) since 2013 until this Sunday (hopefully) we'll break their run with our 21st win over them.

This should be seen as another 'Official' Rivalry Game although some don't feel it's relevant enough for some strange reason. Our series is tied 20-20, they've battled with us and Pittsburgh for the division for the last decade (with multiple seasons of all 3 teams in the playoffs) and they absolutely treat every game against us as war - so why are we so pedestrian when this game comes up on our schedule? Not sure if we've ever worn our home black-on-black rivalry gear against this team.

20-20 eye test tells us this is a 'must win' for this season and seasons to come for both teams. We've got to turn the tide.

GO Ravens!!!

The Ravens had just two rushes in the second half of their 27-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys after getting off to a hot start on the ground.

This has happened multiple times this season.

If this happens again against the Bengals or any other team this season Marty Morninweg needs to be fired.

Is he even a Dak Prescott?

I don't watch Dak Prescott  enough to know what  he is. All I know is Joe Flacco is one of the better quarterback in the league who hasn't been playing as well as he or else fans would like but his play has been improving over the past few weeks.

Actually, Dallas held the ball for over 20 minutes of the second half and went up by 14, so.........
