Dallas fan here...

Your guys had me scared the first half, but I think our offense is pretty good. In any event, Ravens are better than the record indicates.

As far as officiating goes, I thought that there were a couple of times that the Ravens could have been called for late hits on our rookie QB in the first half (I don't think they came anywhere near him in the 2nd half)...so, not a one-way street there.

I agree but I won't go as far as to say that penalties cost us the game. If the defense stops them once or holds them to a field goal instead of touchdown, I think it could have been different. The offense was moving the ball but those three penalties by Zuttah were killer.

That's the point. 2 calls against Zuttah were phantom calls (blocking while the whistle hadn't blown and the running back was not down - the last holding call where the replay clearly showed that he wasn't engaged was Joe broke containment). Even his 1st marginal holding call was suspect given that the same technique was being used by the Dallas line all game - with no calls.

Just saying...give Zuttah a break. He played hard and was key to those big run plays that we had and stopping middle pressure on passing plays.

Let's all blame Flacco. If he had that O line my god. I mean my god, do people even watch football? Dak was never, and I mean never, even remotely thrown off his spot, he had so much time to let someone come open. No Jimmy and no pass rush.

Add in the fact that he has a very good wr corps, I actually doubt Jimmy would be able to do much given how much time he had. That oline is awesome.

We're not too far away from having a good oline either. Just go get a new center. That oline performed with with Leary as a starter and he's not amazing.

im pounding my first on the table for Elfein

Where were the calls against Dallas for PI and defensive holding? I saw at least two instances where there should have been calls against the Cowboys but no flag. The refs were pretty bad today.

It looked like in the 2nd half Pees went to his prevent defense. It's like he changed up our defensive schemes that were confusing Dak in the 1st half. Dallas tried to get their running game going in the 1st half, and was getting dominated. So they changed it up and decided to throw against our weak secondary, and it worked. He got the ball our quicker in the 2nd half, and everyone was wide open, and that opened up their running game.  Still the penalties beat us, not the Cowboys!

Quit being idiots and trying to blame this on Flacco!

Look, I've been one of the most staunch and consistent Flacco supporters/defenders since he got here, but he hasn't lived up to his contract at all. Not even close. The OL played well today, the run game was churning along early, and they were up against a bad pass D. Under the circumstances, is it too much to ask that Flacco do a little more than pass for ~200 yards and 1 score (and a big chunk of that was when the Ravens were down 14 in the 4th)?

Why can't we have higher expectations for our 9-year $120M SB-winning QB? I don't get it. I'm not saying we should bench him, but I think it's fair to expect more. We bash every other single player on the team, but somehow Flacco is beyond reproach? He's been TERRIBLE this year as a whole.

Glad I decided to start Dez when I found out Jimmy was out

18.5 points for me for Dez.  He was @ a discount on fanduel for me.    Too bad I also grabbed Dixon & Flacco b/c they were so cheap.   Complete waste of money now.

i said it in the game day thread, this is no way on wright. a mediocre corner on Dez Bryant with a QB who literally can have 10 seconds to throw will lose 9/10 times.

the game is meant to be fast... dallas put the game in slow motion for themselves in the 2nd half.

Hey bro ,Flacco can't touch the ball if the Cowboys don't punt ...... for an entire half.

Has he lived up to his contract?   I would say no  but dont blame this defeat on him .

Can we get rid of Hester?  Either it's a "fair catch" far behind the 25 yard line, or he lets it fly past him.  How can he be the best returner in the league, I haven't seen him do anything.  I think Jacoby Jones could play better.

Dennis Pitta cannot block.. I hope Nick Boyle comes back and starts next week...

Shareece Wright....was inconsistent

We gave up too many short passes, the Patriots are going to kill us with that.

CB injuries are ridiculous with this team

O- LIne wasn't that bad

We gotta keep running the ball man

Defense was pretty good..overall

We have potential

Yet he had nearly a 100 rating.

It is good to see Joe stepping more into his throws again.  I thought he was more accurate the last two games.  He definitely still can improve like everyone on the team.  Having gone through two ACL repair surgeries, it takes about one year to get your confidence back mentally even though physically you can be ready in 9 months. We are 5 and 5.  We will be a tough team to beat down the stretch.  All we need is to get into the playoffs and you never know what good fortune could come our way.  I believe we all see room for needed improvement and more consistency and healthier players.  We definitely hit the Cowboys hard and tackled well.  Let's see a better game next week and beat the Bengals.  Keep the faith.

People are pointing out that Dallas OL was/is too good but Joe had pretty good protection today. I think he was only sacked once on the day. Dak just made throws and adjustments, Joe didn't.

moderator 3. its 11 games into the season. where is he ranked? what numbers has he put up?? he is healthy. nearly 100 rating vs a decimated cowboys secondary is nothing to write home about.

153yards and 0TDs by end of 3rd quarter compare to Dak's 2TD and 280yards. Flacco sure did connect well   those useless passes though!

Give me a break. The late hit call on Zutah was a joke, if that was late than your player hitting Dixon out of bounds as Zutah is hitting your guy is late too.

Dez Bryant can push off all day

This. How can you win the game if you don't have the ball or the defense doesn't stop a rookie qb once?

He definitely pulled-back on the aggression once again. During a tied game away? Don't understand the thought process. For the most part it just allowed the Cowboys to do what they do best (short-mid passing and running the ball). That combined with momentum and down changing penalties (poor officiating)...we didn't get a chance to compete enough to win.

you stop being delusional lol. i literally said it's not entirely on flacco. but he's not a good qb anymore. wow he didn't throw an interception and put some yardage on a banged up cowboys secondary. kudos. what about the other 10 games?

So you give him no credit for driving down the field for the rushing TD?  If it isn't thrown into the endzone it doesn't count?
