Cowboys got lucky.......... no Jimmy Smith and paid off the officials.

Ravens: 12 Penalties for 136 Yards

Cowboys: 5 Penalties for 45 Yards

HMMMMMMMM..... Paid Off? I think so.

I really hate when fans actually think that the refs are paid off.  What do they have to gain by favoring one team over another?

We lost to the best team in the league in their stadium without our #1 CB, #2 pass rusher and a patch work O-line.

Meh.

Really need to replace Zuttah in the off season.

3 penalties is unacceptable. Although the officiating was bias and horrible

You homers can say what you want but flacco and harbaugh need to go

yeah let go of the two guys who got the Ravens to the Super Bowl, real smart.

The Good: first half

the bad: the second half

the ugly: the huge drives the Cowboys had where the Ravens just let them have check down after checkdown, especially on third downs. also PENALTIES ruined everything like usual, no discipline. seems like they can't handle the road atmosphere, and the refs did their part in plenty of bias for the home team as well.

We're still in the first place, that's something to keep in mind, but this loss sucks.

The extreme lack of draft picks at CB is why the position isn't deep

And yet the difference wouldn't be much anyway. My statement is still valid. You lose Jimmy and young chances are we still lose even if we invest more there.

What kills me is how well we played in the first half. 10-10 and we got the ball first. Everything set up for us to get momentum and out O and D just gave up

Especially with 10 days to prepare. No new wrinkles, no energy off a bye. Puke,

Flacco had a solid game. bs zuttah penalty threw the game off for the offense  then the no call on aiken in the endzone . Refs were paid.

That or our discipline just sucks.

But no, it clearly has to be corrupt officials.

Let's be honest: as a Ravens fan, you should expect that type of letdown. If this team plays well in the 1st half, 90% of the time they're going to come out flat in the 2nd.

When we only got 3. I said in the feed they will give up a score here and kill all momentum.

That's exaclty what happened.   I mean it's been the same old song for 4 or 5 years at the end of halves or 2 min situations.  For whatever reason the bend but don't break nonsense is really what's instilled in them. Problem is if you bend that much give up that much space and can't tackle that's broken enough.

their O just got the best of us. This is what we feared if Jimmy didn't play. We competed, but they won the matchup in the second half. On to the Bengals who don't look so hot.

The good:

- That first quarter TD drive.

- Overall run defense.

- The pash rush in the first quarter.

The bad:

- Overall offense. No fire. No urgency.

- The pash rush after the first quarter.

The Ugly:

- The penalties.

- The overall secondary play. Dak was throwing darts all game.

This is exactly the defense you'd expect with no Jimmy Smith playing. Were we really surprised?

Yeah we need more depth behind Jimmy Smith. Think we all knew that.

This fan base got lulled into a sense of hope because this offense had a decent second half against the Browns worst D in the NFL.

We played a somewhat decent defense today and once again Flacco and the O don't show up. How many games are we going to throw away with poor offense?

Same ole same. Offense disappears then defense wears down which is followed by an L.

I just don't trust flacco anymore.

I think we keep him for next season. Not that I think he's done well for us (I really don't) but it's more that the other options out there really are that bad .

He never even attempts to throw it past the first yard marker. even down 10 with a min, he threw 3+ check downs to fb and rbs... he had 1 good year, face it

The whole AFC North is trash. No out of division victories since the Steelers beat the Jets on 10/9. The only reason this mediocre team has a playoff prayer.

It's Flacco's fault that the defense let the Cowboys drive the field on EVERY possession in the 2nd half?

35 passes only 16 carries, we got out of balance again......cowboys executed the blueprint of how we want to play beautifully....well at least the afc north is weak this year so all is not lost
