People bashed the front office once he signed here. He has been one of my favorite players to watch even before he came here. He is one of the most underrated guys to play the game. Imagine if he had actual consistency at quarterback before and during his prime. He will go down as one of the greats.

Really hope we can send him out with atleast a trip to the playoffs. He deserves it. He gives everything he has and then some. True Raven right there. I just dont want it to end. I truly believe he could keep playing and being productive for another two years. Had he not missed two games he'd be on pace for 1000 yards again.

844 yards from moving into 3rd in the all time receiving yards list jumping Randy Moss. Would LOVE to witness that.

That's the way i see it. Doesn't even matter to me. Just glad we had the opportunity to have him be a part of this team.

When i saw the catch and how he tried to not make it look to awesome so the team would stay focused it made me happy. The guy is a pro in every sense of the word. Congratulations SSR we are so proud to have you in the Ravens organization.

There was a You Tube video out right after Steve Smith left Carolina. It showed a young kid about 8-9 years old crying like a 2 year old when his father told him that SS was leaving the Panthers. When I first saw this video, I said to myself, "c'mon kid, get a grip".

Now I know why he cried like that. SS is a pretty special player.
