Yes, Ray use to praise him all the time. Ray just wants to be heard, He misses running his mouth and everybody kissing up. Hell he is even lousy doing commentary on football games

I actually think Ray is prity darn good at what he's doing. And remember that it was Ray who called this team Flaccos team and urged the team to rally around him. Someone has to light a fire under Joe and the coaches can't do it at this point in Flaccos career for various reasons. Teammates can try but that could split the locker room. Suggs even tried early in the season but backed off. So why not have Ray light a small fire and let SSS and others rally the team and back their QB. This is exactly what we needed!

to a point I agree.

he needs his head in the game and commit to a receiver and throw it in... stop waiting for them to get open... know coverage/matchups and do it!
Go Ravens!

I agree with Ray Lewis. Flacco says it himself. He is not a leader type. If Flacco was playing any position other QB, no one would even equate him with team leadership. He is low key and this isn't necessarily a bad thing but not the best quality for a leader in the NFL. Name one true leader in the NFL with that quality. It's a fiery sport and more often than not a fiery leader can make a big difference. How many times in the last few years has this team come out flat and stayed flat through out the entire game? I have found myself saying several times in the last few years during games "how good could it be to just get a spark" This team has lost in so many different ways that it didn't use to; home games, loses in a row, usual amount of playoff missed, lack of divisional championships etc,
Ray Lewis is the ultimate Raven. Ray made average players play like pro bowlers. Flacco on the other hand has never produced a pro bowl WR.

I hear people say this nonsense of Flacco won Ray the Super Bowl in 2012. Watch the post game press conference that Manning gave after the mile high miracle game. He made it clear that his fear of Ed Reed in the back field detracted him from being aggressive through out the entire game.
In the AFC championship game that followed, we shut New England in the second half. Pollard knocked out Shane ?Vareen to cause a fumble that changed the whole complexion of the game.

Flacco played great of course but that defense was instrumental in that Super Bowl. It's unfortunate that we have a culture that like to make losers winners, and winners losers.

Weddle is doing what he thinks he has to do, however he must not forget who the ultimate Raven is. In fact Weddle came here to try to continue the tradition set by none other than the indomitable Ray Lewis.
