Week 11 - Baltimore Ravens at Dallas Cowboys

2,470 posts in this topic

The offenses, 1st TD drive was fast paced and crisp.  Then...NOTHING!  They disappeared!  Then out of nowhere after being down 14 pts...they come out fast paced and crisp again for a TD.

Question....

IF your offense is clicking with this "fast paced and crisp" mindset and productivity...WHY STOP???/

Dak Prescott doesn't play or look like a rookie.

Bull. He looked every bit a rookie first half when we were getting pressure. Here's the thing though - Dallas has coordinators who actually make adjustments. We have Pees. Oh it's not working - oh well, keep at it boys, no need to try anything different.

Is this defense the best since 2000? Shook my head when I read that headline. Now it is a flipping joke. We will never be anything as long as Pees is here. The man has 4 man rush, 3 man rush or obvious all out blitz. No creativity. For some reason thinks you must give cushions of infinity and play lie down football within 2 mins and the 4th quarter. Even when we're losing!
Doesn't send a blitz until they're in the red zone then has people giving 10 yd cushions in man coverage.

The loss is a loss. Dallas is a good team. But we've got actual talent on this defense and it is wasted with this DC.

Offense: Marty - newsflash: Pitta cannot block! Further more, you do NOT have to run on every first down.

That article was stupid lol. Best D since 00 was the 06-07 D. .

That's crap.  The D can't get off the field.  We've only had the ball 3 times this half and scored with one of those.

Great observation; ugly stat.

Good effort but overmatched!

1) Even with Jimmy Smith our secondary besides Weddle blows. Webb needs to go

and a CB a priority.

2) Upgrade at Center. Every time I watch Zuttah he is horrible. His penalties were a turning point.

3) Not sure about Flacco any more. He looks real gun shy back there.

Normally, I'd disagree on the Pees thing but those constant 3 man rushes were PITIFUL!!

Why did we call a time-out? (the one after Elliot stepped out)

I had the same question. We rarely use the clock well. OK, we never use the clock well

You can't put a 5'8 receiver in press against 6'0 + receivers. There is a reason he has it like that. Cornerbacks like talib who use this are able to read and react faster. Our corners just make him look stupid.

Have you watched this D since Pees has been there that is what he does. It isn't the CBs it's the DC

This game could be so different if it wasn't for so many idiotic drive killing penalties.

Common theme in all or losses!

Their coaches completely out coached us in the second half

When SSR goes we need to bring in a veteran WR that plays tough like SSR/Boldin. Draft a WR. Center. CB. have a decent amount of needs

How can we contain them early on and then just break after half time. Doesn't make since too me.

Usually doesn't have to take until halftime. A lot of time its after we score our first TD, or the first quarter - whichever comes first.

We could do with drafting basically every position, which is unfortunate because we don't have much cap room next year to bring in any FAs to fill the holes.

Or multiple 5 or 6 man rushes with various different personnel, which we did today. Can't wait to the film session. Lot of fans are getting undressed for what they don't know and don't understand.

We did no such thing after the half. We gave up in the last 2 mins of the half - played Pees oh let them score usual crap - and then 2nd half did nothing of the kind.
