If Young does great today, I will be ready to say he is the real deal. I've held off on that claim because I don't like making big claims like that until I can be sure--even if I absolutely love a player and I do really like what I've seen from Young since we drafted him.  He hits like a LB and covers the run and can tackle. I assume whoever is taking on Dez will have help all game from Webb or Weddle. I don't think we'll blanket him with either Tavon or Wright.

Thinking Tavon will shadow Beasly. Gotta give Powers/Wright some help via the pass rush.

I'm sure Pees was expecting this, hope he's dialed something up because we're going to need something. When Jimmy went out of the Giants game is when OBJ torched us.

I don't think so, I doubt we'll see any drastic changes like that. I think we're just going to have Tavon and Wright on their own side of the field and Webb will help whichever side has Dez while Weddle helps however he can against the run.

i hope so because they've had the end of the week without jimmy and to be fair cole beasley has probably been their best receiver this year so im fine with tavon staying on him but jimmy is the only corner we have who is over 6 feet tall so dez will literally tower over whoever goes out there

Dez is probably going to have a good day with Jimmy out.  Don't think our pass rush will get anywhere near Dak, so Dez will have plenty of time to get open downfield.  Maybe we can still manage to snag an interception or two.  Once again going to come down to the offense keeping this one close - and we know how that's faired for us in the past.

the only good news is that dallas is also without two starting dbs and orlando scandrin hasnt been playing well the last 2-3 weeks either - wideouts should be winning some matchups

Agree. I expect to see 2 deep zone used more today to help with the coverage on the outside. Still hoping for a great game.

Like I said, I still think this game is winnable. But now just slowing down the run won't be enough, we have to shut it down and make Dak beat us with his arm. That's the only way. Tavon needs to put on his big boy pants because he's taking on one of the best in the biz, and Wright, well, don't screw anything up is all I can say. Powers will take on Beasley. It's now or never, the front 7 pretty much needs to have the game of their lives, shut down the run and provide some sort of pass rush to make Dak uncomfortable.

Nice to see some respect for the Ravens on a variety of the talk shows.  I hope we can come up big and shock these Cowboys!  We keep cleaning the snow off the Direct TV dish as I don't want to miss a minute of this game.  Go Ravens!!!

I hope we keep zeke in check. Show that our #1 defense is legit. Sucks to lose jimmy for this game our weakness is our secondary hopefully someone steps up.

Got bored so I compared our schedules.  Dallas's opponents have a combined 30 wins on the season, while our Ravens' opponents have had a combined 31 wins.  Didn't realize that the Cowboys had a schedule that is pretty comparable in difficulty compared to ours.

This gives me confidence.

I think Ducasse is a pretty good run blocking RG and Yanda would be better than Urschel or Jensen at LG. I think the Ravens will focus on the run game a lot this game to keep that Cowboys offense off the field, especially with Jimmy out. 

I also wonder if Urschel not getting the start at LG has anything to do with the healthy of Zuttah and Urschel being the primary backup? Or maybe it's a move made because of the shoulder. Who knows at this point, i'm just glad to have Yanda active.

Just the thought of Wright on Dez scares me. I expect him to get 100 yards.
