Since we're in Texas!  I say the former Longhorn Justin Tucker beats the Cowboys on a game-winning field goal!

Is it too late for this game to flex?

I have a lot going on that day, I  just want to make sure I plan accordingly.

Well it's noon on Friday and i'm beginning to get that proverbial knot in my stomach. This week it feels much worse though because I want this win so bad with a statement being made. Do fruit flavored Tums come in all purple?

Flying out to Dallas tonight and I'll be there Sunday.  Really looking forward to checking out this stadium, and hopefully walking away with a W.

I live outside of Dallas and am looking forward to going to the game Sunday with the only other local Ravens fan I know!

So there will be at least 2 more of us there, rmw10!

This game is gonna be a battle of the next generation. If our young players show up strong I think we can pull it out.

Since the Cowboys always wear white at home, I would guess we're wearing purple.

I knew it wouldn't be white and was thinking maybe black, but forgot they wore them for the Save the Tatas game.

I did come across this though while looking around.....  uggghhh.    http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/report-steelers-to-wear-all-black-color-rush-uniforms-vs-ravens-on-christmas/

I'm so ready for this game, but I'm keeping my emotions in check until the inactives list comes out, my eyes will be glued to Zrebiec's twitter waiting for that. I don't think Jimmy would miss this game, he practiced a bit on Friday and he's flying out with the team so I think there's at least a good chance he'll suit up. That "doubtful" designation is just scary though. Jernigan is questionable as well, though he practiced Wednesday, so I think he just sat out Thursday and Friday to heal up and should be active.

Basically this week could be healthiest defensively that we've been in a long time, with Doom maybe re-entering lineup, or we could be without key players. If they are ready to go then I'll stick with my 17-10 Ravens prediction from earlier this week, if they aren't then forget that, I have no idea how we'll do without them.

What was the last news on Yanda? I don't remember

I believe Yanda is expected to play. Was a full participant in practice.

It would be awesome to keep the Cowboys winless against the Ravens again. The weather is pretty bad today with this wind, I wonder if it helps us that the game will be in Dallas or if the weather would have helped us if the Cowboys had to come here. I guess it may be best that it just isn't a factor at all. I really want us to win this game today, GO RAVENS!

Going into this game, I thought it would be a battle and a close hard fought game. However just hours before the game, I think it'll be a one sided game and the Ravens will come out on top. I think the Cowboys are walking into a buzz saw and it's to no fault of their own and there's really nothing they can do about it. No matter how many injuries this Ravens team has dealt with over the last year and a half, they are a prideful bunch and and they take the fight to teams.

However now, just listening to all the Dallas love(which is warrant) listening to how Dak, Zeke and that oline is unstoppable and can do no wrong. Than you have this Ray Lewis thing now and I think this team will rally even more than they would have before. Listening to how players stood up for Joe when they didn't have to, they all could have taken the high road like Joe, but hearing these guys already rally behind Joe and stand with him against a Former Ravens Legend tells me that everyone in that lockerroom believes this is Joe's team and they will come out fighting for respect, which is a great motivator.

From a game play stand point, I look at this Cowoys team a lot like the Steelers. Everything is really dependent on the run. I've been hearing all morning how Dak and Zeke check off all the boxes as rookies, my issue with that is nobody has really taken anything away from them yet. As the saying goes winning masks all. Well let's see what those 8 straight wins are masking from my point of view.

Those wins and more importantly that strong offense is masking a bad defense. Yes the rankings might say the Dallas defense is pretty good, but when you really look at them they are bad. That run defense might look good, but look closer and they are bad. They are allowing 4.1 ypc and that's in the bottom 10 of the NFL, the reason why they seem good is because teams are only rushing 20 times per game vs them which is the worse in the NFL. So it's not that they're good at stopping the run, it's just that other teams are losing T.O.P to that Cowboys offense so that defense isn't exposed as much. They are allowing teams to covert 41% on 3rd downs, which is again bottom 10 in the NFL. They are allowing teams to complete 69% of their passes which is 2nd worse in the NFL.

I think the Ravens defense is legit as well as that Cowboys offense, but I think they'll take the run away from Dallas and force Dak to make tight window throws while quickly reading a ever changing defense. People take style points away from the Ravens offense for having a great showing vs the Browns, but the Cowboys defense isn't much better. I expect the Ravens to over power the Cowboys on both sides of the ball and dominate this game much like the Steelers game. The difference is the offense will show up big today as well. I think the Ravens offense starts fast and puts that Cowboys offense in a hole early. Then they just keep that defense on the field and shorten the game. The Ravens will take a 24-10 lead into the 4th quarter and those young guys on Dallas will finally experience what it's like to hear there fans boo and not have their way in the NFL. Final score 31-17.

I usually don't do score prediction but for some reason today i feel it.

I was going to mention the same thing. Glad we aren't playing here today, the wind gusts are brutal and would affect the passing and kicking game tremendously.

Why is Jimmy Smith inactive today. I don't remember him going down versus Cleveland and that was 10 days ago too.  Wow that sucks.

Whelp our chances have gone down, still not impossible to pull this one off but we've certainly got our work cut out for us. We're about to find out just how legit Tavon is.
