[News] Who's Practicing, Who's Not vs. Dallas Cowboys

You just have to assume doom is preparing for the divisional matchup against Cincinnati. Yeah it'd be great to have him back for Dallas but getting him an extra week to get ready and come back fresh for a conference/divisional battle seems to be more of a priority.

hope most of these guys can play

In addition to Yanda, I hope we get back CJ Mosely too and I hope Crockett Gilmore can play Sunday too. And I think we need to let Campanaro replace Hester for running back kicks. Hester fair catches too many balls when he has room to run. Anyone else notice that about Hester?

If this injury repot is true and these players play as paid Dak is going to be in trouble but the Ravens can only win if Joe and the oline plays better . I seriously smell a upset.

Gotta love, Yanda......I'd rather not have Dumervillhe on the field if he is going to be as ineffective as his last effort- especially, going up against a brick wall.

Gilmore is another big one. Pitta is an absolutely horrible blocker.

Pitta has nice hands, other than that, I don't see many other attributes. He is a GREAT story (so much adversity), however!
It kills me when they try throwing screens to him and some of the other slower options. smh

I have noticed it as well. I think it stems from trying to play it safe and not screw things up after he's fumbled multiple times. His time might be coming to an end. Asa and Camp might be electric!!!

agreed completely. Maybe he gets a few rushes Sunday to knock the rust off ( and hopefully makes plays as well). But he better rest up and get ready for Cincy. We all saw how ineefective he was earlier in the year. Be ready, then get back on the field Doom

Gillmore needs to come back. Waller and Pitta aren't exactly great blocking TE options. The Ravens may need to consider some jumbo packages with an additional O-lineman (not that there are many left).

I agree with some here that Doom maybe knocking off some rust to get ready for the Bengals but, if he finds during practice that he's back 100%, he needs to play this week. We need the rush.

I agree, let Doom get a few plays under his belt in Dallas and see how he responds, both physically and performance wise then plan on bringing him out 100% against Cincy if all goes well. Looking forward to seeing CJ get back out there and having Yanda back is a big help too.
I'm getting a sense that our guys are preparing for a tough game but have every confidence they could pull an upset. Dallas is going to be tough right up to the last 25 seconds if the Pittsburgh game was any indication so I'll just expect the worst and hope for the best.
GO RAVENS!

Two thoughts:

1. Since this is neither a conference nor division game, and since no believes that the Ravens will win out (12-4), this is not a critical win. Perhaps we save the recovering players for Cincinnati, since that is a critical division game.

2. Since the Ravens really haven't beaten a good team this year, this is a critical win because it will show if we are playoff caliber.

Thoughts?

I see the argument for #1, however with the gauntlet of a schedule we have left and a close division race, every win is critical.  Every win we get puts us closer to the playoffs and puts more pressure on Steelers and Bengals to try to keep up.

You really need to try to get all the wins you can. If we can get enough wins, then just maybe that last game we could rest some starters for the playoffs, which would be a luxury provided we make the playoffs. It is also still possible that we could get a bye week or better home field advantage position, so there is value to try for as many wins as you can.

1.  Since injury is only a play away in any game, I say you go w/ the players who are ready to play vs Dallas.  A win vs Dallas could really be a catalyst for this team.  Getting healthy and building continuity and confidence can do a lot this time of year.

LoL, for real. Got no more OL left!

Why can't we use Waller more often?? The kid can run and he has shown decent hands. I was watching some old videos from 2011 & 2012 and though we had Cam Cameron as our OC, but we still used some trick plays. This offense is so vanilla that no team is probably expecting us to do anything outta ordinary so we might as well start using some trickery! I am sure it wouldn't hurt.
