[News] Eisenberg: Sunday's Game Features America's Team vs. The Other Guys

28 posts in this topic

The Ravens are simply going to be an item on the Cowboys’ to-do list after their big win over the Steelers and before their divisional Thanksgiving showdown. It’s not a bad place to be if you’re Baltimore.

I went to that Ravens vs Dallas game in 2008 with a die hard Cowboys fan to close out the old stadium.  It was so much fun to watch grown men cry! BooHoo! I think West and Dixon will run the ball down their throats again.  Get your tissues ready Dallas fans!

The run will do damage but we need Joe to finish them off! Dallas defense gives up mega points eagles and squeelers both got 30 pts on them so Joe needs to go for the same thing! WE THE BEST!

I have a good feeling about this game! Our Dline is a force! If we can get Doom back in the pass rush rotation, we will be tough to beat. We need playoff Joe now! I know he's capable because we've seen it! It's just been a while. Let's GO

Maybe not "America's Team" but definitely "The People's Team". When you see the struggles the Ravens have had to overcome time after time, it gives us "common Joes (and Janes)" the inspiration to "weather the storm" and never give up the fight. What better example can a sports hero provide? This is why I am a Ravens fan, not because of trophies or accords, but because these are the values I want my kids, to teach theirs. GO RAVENS! CB 25

LOVE the Butch Cassidy reference!!!

After we beat the Cowboys on Sunday - SSS will be saying to Joe on the plane ride home, "Kid, the next time I say, 'Let's go someplace like Dallas,' let's go someplace like Dallas!" :)

If we somehow get to the playoffs, anything is possible folks and it's starts with Dallas. Nobody is not actually a threat in the AFC: Oakland, New England, etc in the playoffs. We could beat any team in the playoffs.

Strange as it may sound I actually feel better about this game then I did the Jets and Jags because, (for some odd reason) this team plays either UP or DOWN to the competition. Not saying we will win but Harbaugh will have us ready to play.

3 keys to victory:
1. Stuff the Run- our big boys need to keep EE stuffed at the line of scrimmage. This is the game to shut it down, close the lanes and keep that young man in check. He is having a fabulous year.
2. Get to Dak P- once stopping the run. Cowboys like to deek the LB and post short. So The Ravens need to shut this down by pressuring Dak from the opposite side, safety blitz, DE use their size to get in his grill!
3. O Control the flow- use that quick slant passing game and the run game to advance the ball down the field. Keep pounding the inside, then burn them! Over and over.

This is the game where people will be forced to face the fact the Ravens Defense is more than legit when it holds Elliott to under 100 yards and gives Prescott fits. Here's hoping Joe takes is serious to out perform his rookie opponent QB.

hate to say it but i admire the cowboys,a great offensive line and consistant, young QB.we used to have atleast 1 of those things.

Root for them if you like them so much (just kidding). Yes they have done well. We just need to do better. Go Ravens.

I would love to see the ravens win. And I think that the team is right on the cusp of achieving excellence.

That, and I have to listen to so much crap from cowboys fans. I'd like the Ravens to serve that crap sandwich right back at them.

Something has to give here. Cowboys have never won against the Ravens & have never won 9 games in a row. I'm liking the Ravens chances.

They also hadn't won 8 games in a row either before Pittsburgh so that doesn't matter much.

I love it when teams look past us and when we are serious underdogs. That's always when we play our best ball. And you know Dallas is already looking to their divisional game against the Skins. The boys aren't prepared to get their pride destroyed and their noses bloodied.

I'm not worried about our defense. I'm very worried about our offense. Lewis and Yanda out is HUGE. I don't know if we can overcome that, but I'm a glass half full kind of guy.
