[News] Alex Lewis To Miss Six Weeks With High Ankle Sprain

13 posts in this topic

Glad hes alright as far as not broken. 6 weeks, if they get him back week 16,17 that would be fine for me. Hopefully in time for a playoff run.

Yanda is very important, I know hes got a shoulder issue but he played what the Steelers game? So hes had plenty of rest&recovery time... we need to to gut through it... shoot him with cortizone shot. Hes a difference maker on Oline.

Why do you write "he posted a plus-4.3 grade". When you stick a minus sign in there is just confuses the issue. How about just writing "he posted a plus 4.3 grade" or "he posted a +4.3 grade"? (I know it's petty, but let's go for excellence!).

There is something to be said for clarity in communication.

Sorry to hear about Lewis. He's a very good guard that will be great one day. I'm not always sure about Urschel. He's really smart (really, really smart!), but he's not as mean and nasty as he really should be.

What is this I hear Yanda is out for the year too?

I haven't read anything about that, I knew he wouldnt play in the Browns game but I figured he would be back for this game. I wouldnt mind letting him rest another couple weeks because we are going to need him as healthy as he can be the last 2 games and our playoff run.

We just need to find a way to bring out his inner waterboy.. I was hoping he would do great when he finally had the chance but to me football is his hobby while math is his passion and he will never reach his full potential unless he switches those around.

It sucks to see Alex go down like that and I hope they dont rush him back too quickly. Personally I would put him on IR and let him heal fully, he will come back next year will a full off-season in the weight room and ready to dominate. They might make the move if they decide to bring back Boyle but I would at least try out Louis Vasquez for OG depth.

Ducasse did not look horrible to me. If Yanda is back, play Ducasse at LG. Since Zuttah has looked horrible and is injured also Urschel will probably need to slide to center also this season.

I would much rather have Jensen and Vlad man the guard positions than Urschel. He's not as strong as the other two and they are both better run blockers.
