[News] Darren Waller Hopes End-Zone Trip Is A Sign Of What's To Come

I think Waller's going to be a baller !
Last year at open practice D.W. told my son he liked his top hat, during the autograph session after practice. So my son wanted to send a Top Hat for Darren to celebrate his first NFL touchdown .

Keep balling Waller, hopefully somebody on the offensive side of the ball will figure out how to use your size and speed for the entire field and not just the Red Zone.

Waller might have had a TD against the Steelers, but James Harrison blatantly grabbed his arm and somehow it wasn't called. It definitely was PI, and Waller is our only TE who can use his speed to create those mismatches. I think he needs more playing time. He could be a game changer.

Hope he can take advantage of the situation, the guy has all the right tools and a ton of raw talent...Interesting to see what happens not only when Gillmore comes back, but also Boyle gets off the suspended list. Wish him good luck in any case.

The Ravens need to study how the Patriots use their TEs. If they can develop plays to get him isolated on a LB and clear his side of the field he'd get free and all we would have to do is hope and pray Flacco can not over or under throw him.

I could see us using Gillmore and Waller the same way Patriots use their TEs but we have to treat Pitta the same way the Saints did Jimmy all those years. We have a problem of playing a player at a spot but not using 100% of their potential. Clear out plays like that are hard to pull off because they take a lot of time to develop and the Defense has to be in man coverage.

I love Waller. He came right back after the TD and downed a ball at the 1 yard line. His ST play is excellent. He did have a miscue in the Steelers game grabbing Brown when he had signaled fair catch, but he didn't see it in a mistake of youth.

I've said this from the get go, but this guy can ball. I just don't understand why we don't use him as much. He can outrun CBs let alone LBs. Why can't we use some Screen plays and see how he does. We have enough talent on this team, but not enough CREATIVITY!!! Waller, Moore, and Dixon should handle the screen plays while Wallace and Perriman go deep, and SSS and Pitta handle the middle

The Ravens don't use this kid right. At 6'6" and 4.4 speed, there is no LB in the league that can cover him as the safety will cover Pitta. Keep sending him down the middle of the field in any route of choice and he will get open.

This kid is much more than just a red zone target and I don't understand how the coaches aren't seeing it. We have to attack the middle of the field more.
