How about they just win the division and not worry about the wild card?

Agreed. The only path for the Ravens to the playoffs is to win the division. The AFC West will probably send 2 teams to the playoffs.
Go Giants, Cowboys, Panthers.

Ravens defense and special teams are playoff ready. If the offense can find a way to get to 21-24 points (6 points a quarter) and stop turning over the football, then this team is a playoff team.

It is important to note improved play of secondary since Young has started over Wright. Of course SSS and starting o-line also has helped.

Thankfully, the trend of AFC teams winning the day vs. the NFC ended with the Steeler loss. Let's keep that going with a Bengals loss tomorrow night.

The pathway to the playoffs appears to be the division. The WC is looking tough with the AFC West being the dominant division. Gotta take those 3 big division games that remain on our schedule and split the rest and that should do it.

defenately rooting for DALLAS,but can anyone please tell me how PITTSBURG,year after year always plays their tough opponets at home??

I have often thought the same thing. With the exception of us and the patriots, they never really face tough competition on the road.

The Cowboys have now beaten 3 AFC North teams.  Will the Ravens be able to prevent their "sweep" of the AFC North with a victory in Jerry's World on Sunday?

I sure hope so cause I have quite a few friends that are Cowbums fans and after this win in Pittsburgh they are already talking about running the tables in the AFC North.  Please Ravens stop their madness!

GO RAVENS!!!

Well the Cowboys helped us out Zeke ran all over that soft steelers defense for 200 and 3 tds.
Ravens priority 1,2,3 vs Cowboys stop Zeke Elliott...make Cboys 1 dimensional

Our defense is capable of keeping our game with the Cowboys close enough, but I still don't see us winning, because Joe Flacco and the offense.

It would not be fair to ask our defense to shut out the best O-line in the league and to carry our team to yet another win. Their job is to keep the game close enough and I have no doubt they are able to do it.

But then Flacco will trot on to the field for 3 icky-dicky plays, where he dumps the ball off to the closest player who'll get 2 yards, and then he'll trot back to the sidelines again with his smug face like he just won us another SB.

So unless we can unleash West&co, it's going to be a loong Sunday. And considering both our starting Gs are hurt, it won't be easy to find much running room.

Not only was it sweet seeing the Steelers go down last night, it was awesome how they went down with a run up the gut.

The best part is the mighty Steelers, one of the media darlings, has now dropped 4 games in a row as well.

It was also great seeing the Pats go down to the Hawks. A good day for Baltimore fans.

Looking forward to the Giants dropping the Bengals like chumps.

Very tough task to sweep the division.  I see the Steelers making a big push here towards the end.  I am realistically hoping the Bengals fade and we somehow sweep Pittsburgh again.  If somehow we win that game on Christmas, I think there is a VERY good chance 9-7 wins our division because that would give us the tiebreaker over the Steelers (and if Steelers drop one other game that puts them at 7 losses)  I am guessing we may need that win to beat the Steelers in the division.  Definitely think we need to win 2 of 3 of the remaining division games.  If we lose to Pitt, I think we may need to sweep Cincy to possibly hold a tiebreak over Pitt.  Anyone know the 3rd division tiebreak after head to head and division record???? (I think Pitt will sweep Cincy and Clev, meaning a 5-1 division record)  We can't count on PItt finishing worse than 9-7 (especially if they beat us) and it is a VERY hard path for us to get to 10-6.

Terrible towels lost. 'Terrible towels'...there's a double meaning there...as in they played terrible ? and threw in the towel. Well, ...not really played terrible it was a close game. But not good enough to win. Pretty terrible.

The Ravens will mess with Texas and win! Can't get 20 pts and expect the Defense to hold them back "AINT GONE HAPPEN" if they do "SALUTE " but the Offense gotta bring it home!

offense needs to copy some of these other teams off. schemes which have worked against dallas. dallas d will give up some points but it will be up to the offense to keep up and give the d some rest. this one on the road makes me nervous. offense cannot wait until the 4th qtr to get going
