6 posts in this topic

Sizzle looks phenomenal, hes playing like 25 yr old created 2 turnovers. Sack, fumble and a disruption Int. And people try to act like Sizzle doesnt have it...your talking bout a HOFR who is playing better then any expert couldve thought. But not me I always believed in Sizzle

nice job by suggs and the whole defense. sizzle has some gas left in the tank. my concern is with the health of the o-line and its depth

Note to Ravens: Jameel McClain, Frank Walker, and Bart Scott now have 50 yard line passes for the Ravens on every game for the rest of the season. Suggs played like he was in his prime against a legitimate top notch Left Tackle, one of the best to ever play the game, with one good arm. If Joe Thomas is going in the Hall of Fame, then the guy that owned him will be getting in as well.

This team is going to have to find the next "guy." I look at this team and I don't really see that singular figure that could take over a game with his will. Ed Reed could do it, Ray Lewis could do it, and Suggs can do it. Having them all on the same defense at the same time is what made it so special...not to mention we had an awesome Chris McAlister and Peter Boulware/Adalius Thomas during this run.

Pierce is showing me something and could be making the Ravens think they found their next guy in the middle and negating the need for Brandon Williams. Having Timmy Jernigan on his flank and a possible Carl Davis/Lawrence Guy/Brent Urban on the other flank...we don't play a 4-3. If that is the intention going forward then yes, I think you need to bring Williams back, especially if that coincides with a Suggs retirement. Do we still try to run a hybrid 3-4 defense once Suggs is gone? With Webb and Weddle in the secondary now, are we gonna go Tampa Cover 2?
