Let's talk about the uniforms...

Those color rush uniforms are GREAT! The endzone was awesome too, I honestly can't see us going back to the old ones now. Is it possible for us to make the color rush uni's our main ones next season?

Dont think so. I believe its kinda like the all blacks. Theyre an alternate that you can only wear once... and since its an NFL sponsored event, i believe we can only wear them on "Color Rush" games, Thursday nights on NFL Network.

Teams do have every right to claim a uniform as their own, they just have to wait out the due process, saying they can't follow the legal process to do this would be equivalent to saying an employee can't wear a company polo on casual day.

Unless the NFL already sanctioned color rush uniforms as their own special thing. Which would be horrible yet typical of Goodell.

I think the pants are what brought it all together.  I'm not sure I would have liked them as much if the pants were a flat color like many other teams have been doing.  The thick gold and white stripes on the sides really helped break up a block of color.

Thats what i think is the case. Color Rush is an NFL sanctioned thing. 

I'm sure we could, like you said, have Nike design a uniform almost identical to them and claim it as a home or away combo for next season, but pretty sure the Color Rush is exclusive to the color rush games only.

I remember when cats in here was hating on our color rush unis comparing them to the Vikings.  Now, the unis are the talk of the town and being praised.  What a difference seeing them in a game makes!

He-who-must-not-be-named said that if he were elected to a certain position (which he did a few days ago) he would fire Goodell.

Loved the uni's. Fans across the league seemed to be high on them as well. 

If we just made those our new home uniforms I wouldn't mind. Was never a huge fan of the purple/white look. I always thought our white/black away's and all black looks were much better.

They looked pretty awesome in person. I hope we keep the gold numbers on the purple jerseys and incoporate the purple pants with our away jerseys every now and then.

Well it might have good luck for Ravens. I say try those gold numbers again on white jerseys when Ravens play the Steelers in Pittsburgh. You never know.

Those unis were lit. We need to change the black pants to gray. Sort of like the Giants unis and purple stripes on the pants and purple numbers. But our current road unis are so lifeless. We really need to change the pants to gray. Maybe even a helmet color change from all black to all purple with the raven bird logo on it. Would be too nice.

I could be wrong, but I think only the jerseys have specific rules about when you can wear them. I think the pants are free to be switched and swapped whenever.

I definitely liked them too. Not sure if we should keep them full time (or if we are even allowed to because they may be only NFL sanctioned "color rush" unis)  However, I really think even if we don't keep the jerseys full-time, it would be nice to keep the pants (at least in our rotation)  I think those pants would look really sharp with our white jerseys.
