2016 Week 10 Other Games Discussion

414 posts in this topic

With a Ravens win in the books, I can now post the Week 10 Thread for the rest of the league.

Packers @ Titans: The Packers look like a completely different team than usual. They aren't playing like the Super Bowl favorites everyone pegs them out to be. Aaron Rodgers isn't happy, Mike McCarthy's seat gets hotter and maybe GM Ted Thompson. The Titans meanwhile have a good chance to stay in the AFC South hunt by knocking off the Packers.

Vikings @ Redskins: The Injuries finally caught up to the Vikings. This isn't the Vikings team that went 5-0, they were able to get by with the Bradford trade, they made it without AP, but injuries with the rest of the team was too much. The Redskins look to take advantage of that and stay in the playoff hunt and NFC East Race.

Bears @ Buccaneers: Two bad teams playing against each other. The Bears are trying to avoid a top 5 pick by winning while Tampa looks to see more progress out of Winston as the Bucs take their lumps while Winston progresses.

Chiefs @ Panthers: The Panthers have won 2 in a row against the bad NFC West, but now have a team from the NFL's best division coming to town. Carolina can throw off the Chiefs in their bid to win the AFC West but they couldn't even muster much against a terrible Rams team, so is Carolina ready for a team like the Chiefs?

Falcons @ Eagles: Jim Schwartz looks to do what many defensive coordinators have strugggled to do, stop Julio Jones. The Eagles defense is still very underrated and might pose a challenge to the red hot Atlanta offense.

Rams @ Jets: Jared Goff needs to be starting for the Rams, end of story. Jets look to come away with a home victory against the Rams as Ryan Fitzpatrick attempts to win enough games that the Jets will be out of range for a top QB to pay him $12M again next year.

Broncos @ Saints: The Broncos have looked human as of late, is the lack of an elite QB catching up to Denver? Drew Brees and the Saints are coming on strong as they attempt to make a NFC Wild Card run in the second half of the season.

Texans @ Jaguars: The question here is how bad will the Jaguars lose without Gus Bradley being fired on Monday? Texans look to extend their lead in the terrible AFC South.

Dolphins @ Chargers: Both the Dolphins and Chargers have momentum as they look toward the AFC Wild Card Spots. The Chargers' season is a story of what ifs and what could have been if they didn't blow leads early on in the season.

Cowboys @ Steelers: The Steelers looked off in their loss against Baltimore, as if Ben was rushed back and Ben was never comfortable until the 4th quarter. Dak Prescott meanwhile has taken Tony Romo's starting job and it would be a mistake to return the keys to Romo. Can Elliott run all over the Steelers D, will the Steelers be able to escape with a win and keep up with Baltimore?

49ers @ Cardinals: If not for the Browns, the 49ers would be on track to the first overall pick. What that means for Chip Kelly who is rumored to go back to College Football despite his denials(Saban denied it too) who knows. The 49ers are a mess, and if they moved on from Kelly, they would be on their 3rd HC since Jim Harbaugh who is on his way to leading Michigan to the College Football playoffs.

Seahawks @ Patriots: Alright Seahawks......... RUN THE BALL! Since the Super Bowl, Seattle's offensive line has gotten worse and who knows if they would be able to run it behind their offensive line. Patriots once again look like the team to beat in the AFC and may be on their way to a 15-1 season.

Bengals @ Giants: The Bengals need a win to stay in the AFC North race while the Giants are looking for another win and help from Pittsburgh and Minnesota as they look to reclaim the NFC East. Giants have turned it around, and that is bad news for the Bengals who look like they are imploding and Marvin Lewis' seat gets hotter.

College Football saw 3 of their top 4 teams lose in stunning upsets shaking up the College Football playoff picture. You guys see any upsets tomorrow that may change the playoff landscape in the NFL by the end of the year?

NFC East has a good chance to get the sweep. I like the Skins > Vikes, Eagles -- I'm not sure about, and Cowboys to beat Pitt and Giants win against Cincinnati.

Couple of others, Saints > Broncos and Panthers > Chiefs.

Not sure how the Rams have first & goal, and never once give the ball to Todd Gurley. They passed every single time, and had to settle for 3. I just can't believe Jeff Fisher still has a job.

The Rams will never be a contender until Fisher is gone.

A former Bears' DB just picked off Cutler and ran it back for a touchdown. It's always gotta feel great to do a play like that against your former team.

I didn't realize how good of a year Dee Ford was having, he just got his 10th sack of the year.

When things are clicking for the Titans they really look good. Thanks to some big plays they're up 14-0 against the Packers.

Wow... Titans with some trickery as Murray throws a pass to Delanie Walker for a TD and they take a 14-0 lead over the Packers.

Does Murray earn me any points in fantasy with that TD pass?

Yeah. Generally it doesn't matter how a player gets yards or a TD. All yards from scrimmage and TDs count.

Great pick by Steward. Still kinda sucks that he couldn't do that while he was a Ravens safety.

He had to worry about too much stuff with who he lined up with

Kirk Cousins lighting it up against the Vikings, 9/11 for 125 Yards and 2 TDs. Man the Vikings just aren't the same as soon as the injuries started piling up. Wonder if they are going to end up like the Cardinals did in 2014 when they lost Palmer and went from the number one seed to barely making the playoffs. Except the Vikings lost too many players to overcome it.

That was the first thought I had. Did he ever have a INT here?

Titans OT Taylor Lewan was ejected for contact with official. It's interesting to note that of the 11 ejections in the NFL this season, 6 of them have come from Jeff Triplette's crew, who also ejected Lewan.
