I mean, 250 yards with 2 TDs and 0 INT gets a qbr of 97. How does that guarantee anything? It doesn't even guarantee the qb played well.

Kessler had a qbr of 93.5 against us and they got blown out LOL

I hope it doesn't but Yanda is arguably the best RG in the NFL and Ducasse is not. I'd just like for the olineman to finally be remain in fact. which isn't gonna happen now

I disagree as well. Doom is very much needed and if he balls out then he could surely stay. I'm speaking in terms of what he did in 2014 and the early part of 2015 before he burned out.

I believe that Doom is done PC.  And the reality, at least to me is that he wasn't that effective in the pass rush when he was healthy.

This is very true and in many instances the qb that passes the most has a higher qbr and is also the losing QB.

I still will never forget back in 2012, week 15, Flacco had like a 0.4 QBR against the Broncos. Meanwhile, in the SAME week, the Giants got shut out and blown out yet Eli has a higher QBR? LOL.

Surely feels good when your team wins and all of your divisional rivals lose. Hardly, does that happen for us. 

Either way, I really hope we can capitalize on this and win especially we got the Bengals the following week.

Who even expected for the Ravens to be in the drivers' seat 2 weeks ago? Crazy stuff. Offense needs to build on what began last game. Except for the INTs. Hear me Joe? Don't build on those.

Defense needs to prove it is as good as it has seemed so far. Can only watch and hope.

We got the help we needed this week, now we have to go take care of our business so the rest falls into place by the end of the year. Yeah we are banged up, we are missing key players but yet here we are leading the AFC North with 7 weeks left to play. Our defense has been amazing all year but this is going to be the first real test for them. Cowboys are best in the NFL at 8-1, Giants are the only team to beat them(and you could say they only won because Terrance Williams didn't get out of bounds). If we can do what we have done all year and shut down Dak and Elliott, we can win the game. My only question is can the offense put up the points to win the game if the defense does their part in shutting down Dak/Elliott?

Joe has worked with a patchwork of an OL before. At the end of the 2014 season he had John Urschel and James Hurst starting on the OL in place of Ricky Wagner and Eugene Monroe. This time it will be Urschel and Ryan Jensen, who again, he's played behind. I don't think the OL is an excuse to play poorly. If it is something to have a big concern about then game-plan around it.

Good post. I think the offense can put up enough points. We've pretty much out averaged every opponent we've played thus far this year in the offensive box scores. Penalties and turn-overs have primarily been our problem in the 1st half of the season. We've gotten those negative stats down as of late. The Dallas defense will surrender several opportunities for our offense (very marginal secondary and pass rush). We'll get opportunities. We just need to capitalize every chance we get.

He could be, but I hope he isn't. We do need him. A consistent Pass Rush is the biggest missing element to this defense.

Well, I couldn't tell you that, but even to a casual observer it's obviously not good. I can tell you that prior to any injuries we were starting two rookies on the left side, a below average center, an All World RG and I'm not sure who the starting RT was. 

Don't be silly, the Ravens O line has been a patchwork since Day 1 this year and with the season long rash of injuries it's hardly been a successful scenario. To be frank, it will be a miracle if we can limp through to make the tournament. If that can happen maybe we can field a good, consistent group in the post season. But it ain't looking good.

It looks more and more like the Ravens are going to have to make one or more roster moves before this game with Lewis and Yanda almost certain to miss this game and Zuttah banged up...Can't see us going into the game with only 6 linemen (with Hurst as #6)  Then, you also have the question of Campanaro--does he get promoted to the 53 man roster.? What are everyone's thoughts?  Below are some POSSIBLE moves I could see:

POSSIBLE Promotions from Practice Squad

G Jarell Broxton

C Matt Skura

WR/KR/PR Michael Campanaro

---I expect Broxton will be moved to the 53 man roster for depth on the line.  If we were going to bring an outsider in, I think we would have already.

--Definitely think the plan is to bring Campanaro to 53 man roster at some point.  My guess is that it is this week, but it's possible they wait.

 

Possible Cuts

Devin Hester

Lorenzo Taliaferro---seems to be buried 4th on the depth chart.

 

Possible IR

Alex Lewis---They are saying it's at least a 6 week injury, which wouldn't put him back until late December.  That's a long time to hold a roster spot, plus I think it would be tough for a rookie to be thrown back in there in December and hopefully January when he probably wouldn't be fully healthy.

Marshall Yanda--Assuming the Ravens see him coming back this season at all, I see the Ravens holding that spot for him.  It would be a big boost to get possibly the best guard in the NFL back, hopefully for a playoff run.

Crockett Gillmore--I know absolutely NOTHING about his injury, but with Boyle coming back next week and Gillmore's injury history, this could be a position where they make a move if they think he is going to miss much more time.

 

--My guess is Lewis goes to IR.  We know we have a significant injury and we are going to have to fill that whole on our 53 man roster. 

--I also guess that Hester will be cut and Campanaro will be promoted.  It's possible they hold off on Camp or cut Taliaferro and keep Hester and Camp, but after the Cowboys game, I think another player is coming off the 53 man roster for Boyle.

 

What are everyone's thoughts?  Any other candidates I am missing?

Man doesn't it feel so sweet to win on Thursday and watch our other two division rivals drop on Sunday/Monday we have a huge game Sunday! We matchup great with them this will be a dog fight anyone else have the week before a playoff game feel like I do! So excited for this game if the offense can put up three scores I think we win 17 points I'd say would be the bare minimum if the defense is on there game and man do I hope they are shut some of those uneducated cowboys fans up for once

I agree, unless Yanda's injury is not going to get better over the next 7 weeks. There's no way to tell without knowing what the injury actually is and the extent of damage, which we are not privy to that info.

Well it seems we are reverting back to the week 4 OL. All these injuries there are killing us. I'm really trying to keep my optimism up but it just keeps getting more difficult to do so.
