No, because their backup Alfred Morris has proven to be a pretty good RB when there is a good oline in front of him.

whoa... morris may be a good back, but dont convince yourself that they arent losing a ton of talent if they have to sit zeke...

If Young continues to play outside, he won't see Beasley.

they better not do something stupid like put young on the outside just because hes been playing well there for the past few weeks. football is a game of matchups and young on beasley is the kind of matchup that seriously gives our defense the upper hand. jimmy should do well against dez, and they dont have a 2nd outside threat that worries anyone.

Looking at a Cowboys thread, I don't think the fans know what kind of defense they are facing next week. They seem to think we won't be a challenge at all. Someone said (just fyi ravens have the best run D in the NFL & a great defense  ) then someone responded ( so did the packers when we played them. How'd that work out?) Lol I can't wait for next week.

cowboy fans are horrible. they have the biggest fanbase in the NFL yet they may have the lowest number of knowledgeable football fans.

J.Powers has been playing quite solid as The Ravens main nickel cornerback  which may give The Ravens coaches every reason to keep Young on the outside to face Terrance Williams. I only see Young covering  Beasley if Shareece Wright is healthy and the coaching staff trust him on the field again because Powers isn't a outside cornerback at all.

For me it's not really the T.O.P, i think the Ravens have won T.O.P in most games, it's cashing in on scoring opportunities with TDs and not Tucker or even worse penalties that push you out of range. I think the Ravens can make life tough for that Cowboys offense and even force a turnover or 2, but the offense has to score TDs.

Well, for me they're kinda one in the same.  The Cowboys offense has been able to "consistently" move the chains with very few punts therefore, controlling the time of possession while running the clock down and picking up scores here and there at the same time.

One of my friends who is a huge Cowboys fan always texts me during their games with these messages; "It's time for Zeke!" and "Look at the clock Mili!"  And man, every time he has sent me those messages, it's exactly what seems to be happening.  The Cowboys and their fans thrive off of that!  I don't know if the Ravens offense can or will be able to match that type of production in Jerry's World.  Hopefully, the Cowboys offense themselves can't either due to our defense shutting them down!  Our offense has to show up and show up BIG!!

GO RAVENS!

Man I hope we win this game. Cowboy fans have been so damn obnoxious this season (shocker). Please end the streak. I hope our offense shows up

This is a great match up. Probably the most hype game for me this year.

best run defense vs best run offense

Jimmy smith vs Dez

Cowboys getting so much love. When we beat them, we'll finally get talked about (not really, they'll be talking about putting in romo. Blah blah blah).

flacco please bring your A+ game.

Lets gooooooo!

It all comes down to stopping Zeke. If the Ravens can shut him down like they did Bell, then we probably get another win.

I don't know if I'm going to make a score prediction for this one, I just don't know. I think it'll be a low scoring slug fest and we trot back out there and learn nothing from the Browns game - ergo our offense does nothing. Man i hope I'm wrong on that, it feels like we finally found what works with our offense, please Mornhinweg, I beg you to be just competent enough to learn from what happens in games, I don't think that's too much to ask for.

I really think we match up extremely well with them across the board. If any team is going to shut them up, it has to be us, we can shut down that run game, and our secondary is good enough to take on their receivers and now give up anything.

As much as i agree that Young is our best option against Beasley, I really don't see him moving inside. He's locked down that second CB position and we really don't have anyone else to play on the outside with Wright still injured, maybe the new guy Lewis-Harris can do it. I just think we're going to go into the game with Jimmy and Young on the outside and let Powers continue with the slot as he's done well so far. Coaches like to stick with what's working, and that's the lineup that we've carried since the bye. Maybe I'm wrong on this one, but genuinely I don't know who else would be ok on the outside, and I don't want to just stick someone random out there and we're left crying that Williams burned them over the top.

I don't know why I still go to reddit and try to freely converse about football and expect anything different, it's literally the definition of insanity. You really can't criticize the Cowboys or Patriots over there because they just brigade everything. I make a reasonable statement about our defense being the best run D they've faced this year and this isn't just going to be a blowout, go to bed at +8, wake up at -10 with a whole bunch of replies from Cowboy fans that can be summed up as "nuh uh, we good at run run football! oline good, you team bad!" Man Cowboys fans are unbearable when they're winning, the smugness and "we're indestructible" attitude is just impossible to deal with, I hope we blow them out so bad.

Admittedly their offense is rolling over everybody. They are riding a 8 game streak - doubt they're too worried about little Ol Baltimore. That's how we like it - u worrying about next week when we come in and smack you in the teeth!!

Question given the nature of the Game could we be Flexed ?  Cowboys on an unprecedented run the Ravens the Immovable object on Run D ? Given the current record of the packers and the skins  would they put more fireworks on stage .......

Yesterday,I watched the Steelers try to control the Cowboys running game and big plays.  Considering our rivals were in pain from a road loss at our house the team lost in the final minutes in their own. Their pride was at stake. #28 was the prime reason they lost.

If we want a road victory, then Zak Prescott must be controlled. Their O line is fabulous.  People don't realize Jay Bailey is a great kicker for them.

Joe and the O staff have to play and use strategy for four quarters.  The Cowboys can capsize our boat because they know how to control the first through the 4thQ. They would love to have two AFC North teams on their lasso rope. We have to play the best we can.

If it is true that we play down to an inept teams' level (Jets 4Quarters and Browns first half) then we should also propel ourselves upwards and play up to the Cowboys level.

Steelers lose! YES   I  Hope the Giants carry a win over the Bengals. Coming into Dallas with their losses would be a good cushion in our standings. Winning in Dallas would be the set point for the season.

The question here is can we take elliot out of the game?

We took Bell out of the game. I think Elliot is more talented though. I honestly see much the same type of defensive game plan as vs the Steelers. Limit Elliot & Bryant.

I agree with you.  I also have the feeling this is going to be a low scoring slugfest.  We've got to find a way to get points whenever the opportunity arises.  Obviously, TDs instead of settling for FGs helps, but we have to make sure we get at least the FG when we get into range (avoid turnovers and bad penalties that knock us out of range)

As much as I would love for the Ravens to kick the Cowboys butt, I have no reason to believe the offense will show up. Wishin' and hopin' they do won't make it happen and until the offense starts scoring, I rate them a serious underdog at Jerry's World and all the remaining games this season.  The defense will show up, the offense is another story. Wishing and Hoping for a Raven Win.

After watching the Cowboys beat Pittsburgh ,we will have to play our best game of the season to win. It's possible .I suspect we will be 6-8 point underdogs.

Oh daddy I can't wait for Sunday! After watching them beat the Steelers last night (and loving it!) I really think we match up great against the Cowboys. They are no Patriots, we can and will win this game. We will hold Zeke under 100 total yards and no touchdowns, our secondary locks down Dez and I think our pass rush makes Dak just uncomfortable enough to make a rookie mistake. I think our D line hits their offensive line in the mouth and lastly and most importantly this is the kind of game that Flacco comes out and looks good seemingly out of nowhere. Steve Smith has over 100 yards and a TD this week and Perriman catches the game winner. I plan on putting my money where my mouth is and taking the Ravens straight up, hoping the moneyline is at least +275 as I expect Vegas to give us no shot in Jerry World with at least a +7 spread. Ravens 27 Cowboys 24 book it!

I was hoping we would be heavy underdogs and the boys would look past us. Seems like i am getting my wish.

I know.  We always play best when we are underdogs.   I know others complain when we are being disrespected in the national media and Vegas, but I love it because it feels that much better when we prove them wrong!  Steelers are behind us in the standings AND we beat them, yet they were favorites vs. Dallas and we are 7 pt. underdogs..(granted, Pitt's was a home game and our game is @Dallas, but that is a huge difference in spread)  Let's hope the Ravens make the national media and Vegas look like fools again Sunday!

All we can ask for is that our D limits Zeke as we won't be able to shut him down. If we can accomplish that along with generating some form of pressure on Dak, I like our chances. I expect Joe to get up for this game and hope he can perform. Let's keep the hurry up going, our O seems to perform much better in it as we were able to establish a good rhythm.

Someone needs to knock Dallas off it's perch, may as well be us!

Steelers almost had them beat until penalties killed them again. Is it bad of me that i look forward to seeing their coaching staffs (Tomlin) faces the minute they know they have lost. lol
