Doom isn't really a blow, but Jimmy is. I expect there to be a lot of help over top of Dez and that might open things up for Witten.

The defense can play as good as ever but if you don't put up points you don't win. We need to put up atleast 20.

Whodo y'all think is more important in this game... Jimmy or Jernigan?  Jernigan has been dominating this year at not just stopping the run but getting to the qb...we need him to stop Zeke. That said if we make them one dimensional we need jimmy to stop dez. They kind of go hand in hand. I guess I'd rather have jimmy- but we also need him fresh for the divisional matchup next week vs Cincinnati. Tough call. Hopefully AT LEAST one of the two play. Both would be nice.

Cowboys fan here...the Dallas boards are writing you guys off with a lot of overconfidence but I don't see it that way, especially since we have never beaten the Ravens in 4 attempts and Baltimore has a history of spoiling our party. Nevertheless, I'm a big fan of our 2 superstar rookies and am expecting a win (for Dallas) after a tough-fought game.

what I see is Elliot is overrated.  the raven D will shut him down. He will be lucky to get 50 yards on 20 runs. We will make Dak Prescott proof that he can throw in the nfl when he has to and not when its not expected.  it will be glorious

I wonder if he regretted that decision when we won our Super Bowl in 2012?

Jerry gave him big $ to stay, so I kinda doubt it.  lol

J smith is inactive today

I don't get it.  I know players are often injured in instances where it's not apparent, but damn if it seems like it is always happening to J. Smith. For all of his talent he just seems soft.  Maybe he has Dezitis. B)

CJ needs to step up big time and help to shut down Witten.

Yea CJ will be huge in that area. But if Jimmy could have matched up 1on1 with Dez he probably wouldn't have gotten much help over the top and Weddle would have had more freedom to roam and possibly trick Dak into mistakes. So it'll be interesting to see how things go without Jimmy. The positive is that unlike the NYG game, the Ravens fully expected to be without Jimmy in this game,

And with Jimmy out, I no longer feel excited about this game. I feel that the secondary may have a similar performance to the Giants one. I really hope our offense plays the game of the year because that's how I think we may (key word: may) have a chance, but I just don't see it.

I do think we limit Elliot, but don't see him as being as overrated. Reminds a lot of a young Jamal. He's a beast.

I like how you are thinking here though!   GO RAVENS!

Can't help but think what Joe could do if we could get O line and run game performance like the c boys. Step it up boys!  We need you!

I know every team gets injuries but this team picks them up in consistently big numbers. Really not that confident for this game today but fingers crossed our offense can get a grip for a full game.

he runs behind a good line but the ravens are stout against runners.  he is fast and strong but not shifty nor that big. think we can hurt him.  he can always get lucky and get that one long run but we will raven him then its whether Prescott can convert we will see hes gotten very lucky with poor throws lately and having to throw he is a bet to force

Totally agree with this statement.  Atleast they have had the opportunity to prepare for this game without Jimmy.

Let's just say Jimmy's out and Tavon takes care of Dez... it's time to start considering him for DROTY

If he does handle Bryant just hand him the award of DROTY

He's not overrated and he will break 50 and Dak has shown me he can play under pressure for the few times cowboys actually give some up.  if we win, this won't be an easy game unless the offense actually shows up.  hoping Flacco is in one of those zones.

don't think yak has played well lately but we don't have to see it same way.  the game will be in his hands. we will need a pass rush game will be decided there.  I'm looking for no turnovers by joe and hitting 60 percent of his throws if he gets there we will win by 10

Has Dak really been under pressure at any point this season? Honestly? Yes he's had some game winning drives or a comeback if you will, but when has Dax be forced to play without the confidence that he can just turn around and had the ball off to Zeke it things get a bit tough? I'm not just talking about pressure in the pocket, i'm talking about the pressure of, oh the run game isn't working and I gotta make every throw. Can he handle that pressure. Can he continue to stay patient if he team is down 10-14 late and the run game just isn't working or he isn't getting bailed out by a 80 yard screen or a big broken play.

People act as if Zeke can't be taken out of a game. Not saying you. But this Ravens defense is legit, especially vs the run and I think they will hold Zeke down today. He may get 50 yards but it's gonna be on 17-20+ carries. The only way I see him having a 4ypc type game is to break a big run. The Ravens are gonna force Dax to beat them by staying patient and taking what the defense gives. This is every teams gameplan i'd imagine, the  difference is the Ravens have he defense to actually do it.

Now I will say I really like Dax and Zeke, but I don't think they are this unstoppable force and the Ravens will prove that today. Think about the Panthers last year, they seemed like this unbeatable unit until they ran into a dominate defense and haven't been the same since. The Cowboys are facing a dominant defense today, I think it's them who has the real test on their hands.

Sky Sports coverage is giving me a headache already. They've been talking a bit about Dallas and nothing about the Ravens in the first 10 minutes since they've been on air and apparently "after the break we'll be discussing Dallas and our other games". Sick of hearing these idiots go on about Prescott & Elliott.

Exactly right and remember what happened to Jamal. He needed the exact right situation to be successful. After he left here he was less than productive so if we can just get the oline out of sync the run game should crumble (i am such a homer)..lol  Am so excited for this game.

I meant pressure in the pocket.  might not mean much to some but those throws last week against Pitta were clutch.  if we get land a big hit on early I think it would do wonders for the defense psych.  would be a lot more confident if Jimmy was playing.
