Looking forward to this game.  Their strength goes against our strength.

Hoping this is the start of something good with the offense.

Good offense vs. Good defense the good defense usually wins. Our defensive line and front 7 might prove to be a challenge for them, especially in the run game. Zeke is a special talent though. Containing him won't be easy.

Way back then I predicted this game as a loss, but I hope we can surprise some folks.

The Ravens can pull off an upset if the offense can click. Dak Prescott is gonna be struggling against this Ravens defense.

The offense will need to at least be able keep Dallas' defense on the field.  can't turn the ball over in the RZ.  Every point will matter and a good chance our D can keep this low scoring if the offense even semi shows up.  wouldn't hurt to see a KR for a td, but now I'm asking for too much.  I like that we've never lost to Dallas and want to keep it that way.

Just to add... if we win this, watch the analysts start to jump on the bandwagon.

if our second half offense shows up from the start, our def can get after a young rookie qb and hopefully our greatest strength nullifies their greatest strength - were in this

We are built to stop the run but that's not gonna be easy task. Also don't sleep on Dak. This is a game that our offense has to show up for.

Offense NEEDS to show up. Jimmy needs to have a great game for "You know who". This'll be our super bowl.

Jimmy loves to give up big plays.   Dez has been bad so far since his injury .

Lets make sure Dez stays there.

Another challenge is Cole Beasley.  Dak loves him and Witten moving chains on critical 3rds.   Not only do they move on 3rd downs but they get a ton of YAC yards due to efficiency/accurate throwing.

Our D needs to keepn their poise and our offense HAS to show up.  Enough of this garbage inconsistencies ,starting with Joe Flacco.

Lets score some points and keep scoring.  Win this and win the patriots and this season will be huge.

This is a game where I expect Jimmy to follow Dez for 95% of the game. I honestly think he can make a name for himself this game. I'm loving Tavon and he's balling out but I think you want the bigger guy out there following him.

Only if we can penetrate through their walls that is the o line.

Really interested to see their running game against our defense. I think we can get Dak to make some mistakes. Definitely worried about the offense.

This is a game that puts the media on our bandwagon again. Which will be important moving forward because this team is a team that's exceptionally responsive to criticism. We're a young, inexperienced but gifted defense that's waiting to be acknowledge. We have a "we want to be recognized as great" defense. Which is great because it translates into "we must do what has to be done" mentality. This is a game that can elevate that mentality and really take us to the next level. This is a defense where the greater the expectation the greater the focus. These players want to be a part of "the ravens way" no matter what we have to do type defense. I'm not worried about the Cowboys, their hype or their running game and here's why: Timmy Jernigan, Brandon Williams, CJ Mosely, Terrell Suggs, Michael Pierce, Lawrence Guy,  Zachary Orr, Eric Weddle. Our front seven is savage. No one team is going to dominate them. No one. The more a team tries to run against us the better we become, the better chance we have at winning and that's telling because the Cowboiys currently have the #1 ranked rushing attack.

However,

the outcome of this game will be determined by the Quarterback play.

If Romo were playing paired with this rushing attack, I would be concerned. But Dak Prescott Is their Quarterback and he's not a player that comes to mind when I think of "Ravens beater". I see an inexperienced rookie Quarterback who has executed well to this point but isn't expected to win 'by himself' and immediately I'm reminded of Dean Pee's strengths. Quarterbacks that can single handedly beat the Ravens are the seasoned, instinctive, accurate type Quarterbacks that excel in offensive philosophy and execute well in the passing game. Ben Roethlisburger, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning....quarterbacks that have that killer instinct to move the ball at will. Dak Prescott screams rookie QB who has exceeded expectations because 'he's not required' to win games on his own but rather let the run offense carry the burden. I believe this game plays right into our hands on multiple levels and might be the exact game we need if we want to develop a championship mentality...but here's what has to happen for us to win.

Joe Flacco.

Joe Flacco has to wake up and realize his Superbowl MVP potential all over again. Joe is the type that plays his best when he feels slighted and over the last 2 years I think he's been playing too "content". He needs to play like he has something to prove again.

We need our offensive line to play well but more importantly I think it's time for one of those "clutch Joe Flacco games". And by that I don't mean the 30 of 50 for 175 yards, with 2 interceptions and 0 TD...3 of 17 first downs type games. I mean the 22 of 30, 300 yds,  2 td, 0 interception type games where we're converting those key 3rd downs and keeping the opposing defense in suspense.

Call a spade a spade.

Enough with the excuses. Enough in waiting for this offense to find it's groove. Joe Flacco needs to be called out. This guy has to step up and get over that knee injury. He needs to be the definitive leader. He has to be the one that brings the champion mindset to this offense. As someone who has experienced an ACL tear and ACL surgery, I can tell you it is an injury that really tests the confidence you put into your recovery. It is without a doubt the biggest obstacle in Joe Flacco's way right now. There is a mental roadblock that he hasn't fully overcome yet and it's clear it's interfering with his throwing mechanics. But you know what? He's being paid bazooka mullah right now..and needs to realize, so what if I get hurt a second time I need to play like bazooka Joe again. He needs to abandon that fear of stepping up and stepping into whatever a defense throws at him. Once that mentality clicks we're good. How long will it take? I have no idea. But we have too much talent on this team to be limited to this bull ship anemic offense that we've been forced to settle with.

Step it up Joe. It's time!

...and if you do sooner than later,  by the time the playoffs come around we will be the team no one wants to see again. We will become the Ravens of old and if we can reestablish THAT...there will always be a chance to win no matter who the opposition is.

This is a barometer game. Its not a game we have to win, but its a game where we have to be competitive.

You go to Dallas and get blown out, its back to the drawing board in terms of being a playoff contender. A one score loss probably shows that we're an above average, maybe even good team, that just got beat by a good team on the road.

Its not a game I expect to win, though I do think in some ways we match up well with them. They should have a tougher time running the ball against us than most, and they're not a particularly good pass rushing unit.

You have to admit Joe showed signs of returning to form last night. He scrambled well to extend plays, sure he made a few bad decisions but compared to earlier in the season he looked strides better. I mean, even Rodgers has had very horrid games this season. We are just going to have to wait it out and by the looks of it the dry spell may be nearing an end.

If we win this game and we can it would boost the entire team to a new level and could really put them in a play off mindset. Personally i would rather face Romo the Dak. Romo is not the best decision maker and Dak is a pretty decent game manager.

Just had a very funny thought. Can you imagine Tavon trying to cover Dez Bryant ? A true Power verses speed competition there.

Agreed!  And may I also add this scenario....if the Steelers can't beat them in Pittsburgh on Sunday, that gives the Cowboys the "possibility" of sweeping the AFC North teams if the Ravens also can't pull off a stunning upset of the Cowboys on the road in Dallas.

I really don't want the Steelers to win the game because their loss on Sunday will further help our cause in our position as division leaders but neither do I want to think about the Cowboys running through the AFC North teams undefeated.

It would nice if Dallas runs all over Pittsburgh this weekend .

I do think the Cowboys could play right into our hands and assume they can run the ball.

Our offense cannot turn the ball over.

When does Boyle return?

Lets see what our o-line looks like.

How is the Cowboys d-line and pass rush ?

Weak.

I don't think Gregory will be back and Demarcus Lawrence hasn't been playing well after his return from suspension.

The real force on that front seven is Sean Lee, but he's not a pass rusher.

I don't see the Cowboys saying - well, Ravens got a good run D, so we should not run the ball. It will be a strength on strength play. Here's what I have to say to that ... it will be KEY that our secondary tackles well. No matter how well we play the run, there will be a time when their run scheme will free Elliot to get past our first line and someone in the secondary will be called up on to make a tackle. If the miss - that run can go to the house. We can't have that.

Boyle has a 10 week suspension, so he won't be eligible to return until the practices leading up to our game at home vs. Bengals.
