Rookie running back Kenneth Dixon was back at practice after suffering a chest injury late in the Steelers game. Wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. (ankle) is not listed on the injury report and guard Marshal Yanda (shoulder) likely just got the day off.

Take your sweet time with Doom. Quite frankly, he isn't better than Judon at this point unless fully healthy, and even then I'm not so sure anymore. He never was able to be on the field for more than just passing downs. We may have already moved on from him.

I wasn't surprised to see Smitty back this week, but didn't expect him to play like he hadn't missed a beat. His fire is contagious!

Do not have to rush anyone back the Ravens are deep Joe just gotta use what's in front of him and Wreak Havoc! I have issues with Joe because this team is locked cocked and ready and beating the squeelers is just the beginning so we need our QB to be RELENTLESS! Need 30 pts a game and blaming the Defense won't work they top 5! Our QB is well we know where he ranked so LETS GO!

Was thinking the same thing. His presence alone makes the Ravens better

At WHAT point will we stop 'practicing' the 3rd down passes that are well short of the first down. With all of those 3rd down duds- and there has been many this year, how many of us are getting tired of that! We are absolutely horrible on third down!
Its Mallett time!

I assume you are talking about all the passes to the checkdown. That happens when the other WRs running longer routes (past the 1st down marker) are NOT OPEN. Or there is a breakdown in pass blocking.

Until we get a WR that can beat press man coverage, it's the only thing that's open.

Wallace scores a long TD then has to sit out the entire 2nd Quarter to get his head right. C'mon man.

I'm afraid Doom has gotten too old to be a factor. Suggs can still be of some use as a situational player, even if that means only eating up blockers due to the tremendous respect the opposing offenses have for Suggs (and rightfully so). Even if he's not the game wrecker he once was, the sheer fact that he's playing through the injury and pain, while risking long term damage, only to help this team out makes him a monster in my book.

As for Doom, however, it seems the injuries were too tough for him to overcome. He obviously is not able to get back to 100% anymore and, as such, has lost his edge. If he can't make it to the field in the next couple of games AND show he can be of some help to this team, I can't see a reason for wasting a roster spot on him. He was a great player and I appreciate all he has done for this team, but his time is up. It's sad, but it is what it is.

As for the next year, I really really hope we can draft the next starting caliber pass rusher. If we could retain B.Williams, Young continues to develop, and maybe we can add some solid CB depth, I think we'd be set on the defensive side.

Need to commit to the run Thursday, keep Joe under center as much as possible, and throw more play-action passes to the seam routes (especially Pitta and Wallace).

This game is a perfect trap game. It is unlikely for Cleveland to go 0-16, and the Ravens just may be a little tempted to look beyond them to the next game. Ravens need to stay focused, and Harbs needs to be prepared to win ugly if this turns into a typically ugly Browns-Ravens matchup (color rush should ensure a certain level of ugliness is achieved).

I just happy to hear we came out of the yellow towels game without any further serious injuries. Hopefully, we can continue to squash the injury bug.

We still need a top safety.

I hope Shareece Wright done for the year. Tavon Young is the future and our best draft pick from last years draft.

That's not very smart. Be careful what you wish for. Just BC shareece is healthy doesn't mean tavon can't start over him. Shareece might have struggled but either way he is good depth...and if we see a string of injuries I'd rather have him out there  opposed to having to promote somebody like ASA jackson from the PS and have to rely on him.

I expect doom to be back either for the Dallas game or the week after.  Nice to have a Thursday game so he can get 10 days of rest.

I would be ashamed if I sat out practice with a "thigh" injury this long. Someone needs to pull their "MAN" card.

Did they ever say what type of foot injury Doom had?? Can't remember if they did or not......hope it's not the toes!!

Who is "Doom"? Does/Did he play for the Ravens or is he a cheerleader? I know Elvis checked out years ago.

:rimshot: Funny ha ha......no he is the dude that in "2014" had 17 sacks. Last year, yes, he fell "off" because Suggs was out for the year. Wow.....the guy misses some time and people are ready to write him off. Harsh crowd around here.

Yeah right, you'd probably want to go on the IR for a hangnail...

Some time isn't 9 games and when players make that much, yes we expect something out of them more than half way into the year. Michael Campanaro went on IR in the preseason, got cut with an injury settlement, came back, resigned and is now playing and Elvis is still dealing with his stubbed toe. Clearly someone checked out on the team he thought wasn't going to be very good and perhaps it is time to just go ahead and cut the cord. I think Eugene Monroe put more effort into playing this year than Dumerville did. Judon is progressing very nice and filling his spot quite well and since this is the last year on Dumervilles contract it looks like he is getting himself ready for the next team he plays for.

look at SIZZLE,a real man and then look at DOOM a real!

WOw... Tell me how much time DOOM has missed in his career... he had a severe enough injury that he needed to have it surgically repaired. He rushed back faster the he should have in an effort to help the team... only to aggravate the injury. The last thing he should do now is rush back... that is the text book definition of insanity... "doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result".... Doom is the real deal.

Why? Doom isn't really taking anyone's roster spot, and if he can come back healthy down the stretch, that's good news for the Ravens. I mean, if there was someone more deserving to be on the 53 man squad I'd probably agree with you, but there's no one knocking down the door. No risk/high reward keeping him on the inactive list on game days if he can maybe make a difference later on.

And as for his "stubbed toe", remember that was the same injury that ended Johnathan Ogden's career...more serious than most people realize.
